We had a nice stay overall! The location is wonderfully remote and quiet, and we absolutely loved the horseback riding experience. As other reviewers have mentioned, the water does have a strong sulfur odor, which really needs to be addressed by the host. We knew this going in and decided to take a chance, but it is worth noting for future guests. Additionally, it felt like the house might have sat empty for a bit before our arrival; the bathroom counters were a bit dirty, there was trash left on the porch, and some trash cans inside hadn't been emptied. With a more thorough cleaning and a fix for the water, this place would be a 5-star gem!

I was disappointed with the lack of cleanliness and upkeep on the property. The photos were obviously taken many years ago when the cabin was new. It definitely needs a good disinfecting/cleaning. Exterior windows haven't been cleaned in years so the view was pretty gross. The pond isn't kept up and is overgrown with vegetation. Overall, pretty disappointing.
