A real person came to the apartment to hand over the keys. Although we gave a very short notice we were on our way, the host was in time. We got a small tour through the house. At night it is very quiet in the bedrooms because the are placed on the 'inside' of the building. So no noise of traffic from the street. The downside to this is that not a lot of daylight comes in, which is absolutely no nuisence when you're out during the day. The washingmachine is also a plus. Metrostation Santuxu is about 100 metres from the apartment and there are a lot of bakeries and supermarkets around the corner. The old town Casco Viejo is at walking distance.
If I may give a small suggestion: put pepper, salt and baking oil in the kitchen.
