Wifi didn't work in room - 4G also not strong so not much service whatsoever during our stay. TV in room didn't work - receptionist informed us that 3 out of 4 TV's at the suites didn't work. We were told a technician would come to sort it but never did. No mini fridge in room - previous reviews suggest there are fridges in the room so we believe this was taken out because it was faulty and not replaced. No bottles of water were provided on our arrival to the room. We complained to the manager about the lack of adequate services and they wrote back saying we'd get a partial refund for our stay - this refund never got requested and therefore we were unable to afford elsewhere to stay as our jobs required sufficient Wifi. Bath plug doesn't work and leak under the sink. Towels didn't get changed during our 5 night stay, had to ask for toilet paper even when the room had been cleaned. Staff on site were lovely and apologetic regarding any issues. Can't fault them and their service but there are multiple faults with the suite itself and I wouldn't bother staying here especially if you require Wifi or want to watch TV at night.

Lovely place to stay.

Superhelpful staff. It is in a beautiful location, the gardens are wonderful. My room was huge, and I loved the shower and bathtub. Lovely and clean. Very good value for money.

It is a little out from downtown. I thought I could walk, but that isn't possible. The very nice staff showed me an app to be picked up by moped/car. The fridge didn't work, and if I had had to use the communal kitchen I would have been disappointed.

Amazing stay at Dlobong Suites, Ubud

Felt like home away from home. Quiet and peaceful location amidst rice fields and coconut trees / forest. Spacious and airy room and bathroom. Smart TV with Netflix, etc. Beautiful garden within the Premises. Common kitchen was always accessible. Mr. Komang provided his best services to make us feel at home and comfortable.

The fridge in our room was inoperational and one bedside lamp was defective. No corrective action was taken. Arranging vegetarian breakfast was a challenge.

Good location and property- care taker support could have been better.

We had an overall pleasant stay at the property. The location is great—peaceful and close to nature—and there’s a lovely café nearby that we really enjoyed

However, I do feel it's important to mention that there is no staff support available after 4 PM, which could be inconvenient for some guests. In one particular instance, we faced an issue retrieving a misplaced item that was still at the property. Unfortunately, we received no assistance from the staff despite multiple attempts to reach out. Same staff member even refused to take our call and instead responded in an unhelpful and dismissive manner. Aside from this, the stay itself was comfortable and the natural surroundings made it a relaxing experience.

The property had a lovely garden

The property was very damp walls in the bathroom were wet with damp, and the bed sheets were damp , we asked for a hair dryer to try and blow dry our sheets every night! we explained this to the staff but no manager addressed our complaint, we left half way through stay and booked another hotel for 4 days ! But the staff were very helpful !

Pleasant, clean accommodation

It was spacious and very clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I have coeliac disease so they modified the breakfast for me. Very kind of Agung. There was a nice well-kept garden. You could make a cup of tea or coffee in the staff kitchen.

There was nowhere to sit outside the room or comfortable chairs to lounge in. Just a table and two dining chairs. The only place to relax was on the bed. The room is plenty big enough to accomodate a couch or some nice Lounge chairs on the terrace. There was quite a lot of noise in the surrounding area from the big sports stadium and construction works. Also my room was close to the office so all conversations could be clearly heard.

Staff were really friendly and helpful and spoke good English. They went out of their way to help me. The facilities were great, clean, modern. It is a small boutique type place, only 4 suites with a big bedroom, good wifi, great big bathroom. Its quiet yet only 7 minutes to Ubud Centre. Very handy! A few good cafes nearby walking distance. Nice view of rice fields and trees. I stayed for a week and could have stayed longer.

Great place for couples.

Great little place. Only 4 rooms and outside of busy Ubud so it's perfect. Breakfast every morning, your choice, made to order whenever you're up and ready for it. Staff were extremely attentive and friendly and the bed was huge and comfortable. We really loved our stay here.

I love the property having a small rice terrace/Jungle type view and it was very quiet and peaceful at night. The staff is very friendly

There are no amenities available for you to use in your room like a coffee pot, iron or hair dryer, the staff leaves at night so you don’t have 24/7 help during your stay. I’m not sure, but they don’t no clean your room daily even after I asked for the room to be cleaned and extra towels, it never happened I only received the towels. The rooms had a very strong mold and mildew smell as well

Dlobong Suite: A Peaceful abode.

The location of suite is simply mesmerising. The view from the room is very beautiful. The staff, Wayan and Agung are very welcoming and helpful. You get a bike on rent, right from the hotel. There is a good resturant serving traditional Balinese food, 2mins away from the hotel. Enough Laundry options 3-5 mins away from the suite. All amenities like hot water from shower, tub, AC, etc. are present and in good condition. You may choose to have breakfast in the suite or from the resturant across the street, or drive down to the Ubud market.

Because of rice fields around the guesthouse, you may find bugs in your bathroom, especially if you stay on the ground floor. The staff spray anti-bugs spray, but if it's raining outside then you may find a couple of bugs, like centipede and lizards in your bathroom. Never found them in my bedroom though. One tip: check under the rug in the bathroom for any bugs, or behind the tub, they usually like to hide there comfortably. Also, keep your room neat and clean, leaving no space for bugs to hide. You shall do fine. Keep the AC on so that there is no moisture in the room; moisture attracts bugs. The staff is very helpful, so ask them to spray anti-bugs spray every day.

Pretty rooms but bit too expensive for what you get

The rooms were beautifully decorated and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was nice!

- There was an open window in the bathroom that was just next to the reception area, that really felt like they could watch and hear you from outside, when taking a bath or when you sat on the toilet. - Locationwise there's almost nothing there, you really need a bike to get around. It would be nice to have a seating area outside, now it's only your room and there's nothing else to do, which feels a bit weird. - A few seats on the grass area would also be nice. - There was a lot of construction noise outside, there building almost everywhere around the hotel...

Pleasant

This is a beautiful place. We thought we found a safe haven until the manager canceled the other half of our stay because they double booked. That was very unpleasant since we made all our plans according to that. Things happen, but when it is the mistake of the property, we didn't expect them to also charge us heftily to at least store our luggage (under the facility stairs nonetheless) for a couple of days until we could move them to another accommodation. Just the customer service aspect left a bitter taste in an otherwise very beautiful place. The rest of the staff was lovely at least.

WONDERFUL

this is absolutely amazing place to stay far away from civilization, facing rice fields, tiny streets and gardens; surrounded by few local small cafeterias though in a walking distance; all these greens are just unbelievably beautiful and peaceful; highly recommended for those who looking for their inner peace; Ubud is not far, just 5-7 min by bike, approx 3 km to walk… I LOVED IT SO MUCH! gonna come back for sure! Yayan, guy who works here was super friendly and helpful, cooked nice breakfast daily, appreciate everything!

I loved the beautiful view on the jungle. The shower is very amazing. The room is very quiet anf very perfect for relaxing. Many choice for the breakfast. Komang it's an amazing person too.
