About this villa rental
Please be aware that our last review was in 2019 just before Covid-19. We closed the villa down a week after the pandemic hit the world. In 2022 the war broke out in Ukraine. However we have many reviews before that and hope you will take a look at them. Bulgaria is not in any way afected by this war, and is a very safe and welcoming country to holiday in.
This luxurious villa in Varna. Set in the village of .Borovets Awaken your senses amongst the breathtaking mountain slopes and lush green hills with a sea view from the comfort of your balcony on a south facing aspect, or relax in the comfort of your Rising Sun Villa which is fully air conditioned throughout.
The village of Borovets Asparuhovo District of Varna has a few local bar & Resturant and two well stocked mini market. Borovets is an ideal family holiday destination with Varna City centre only a short 15 minute bus ride away where you will find ample shopping facilities, bars, beach and restaurants.
We have information booklets in the villa which contain everything you need to know to make your holiday everything you wished for and more.
Follow the abundance of flora along the lush green slopes for a short walk in to Asparuhovo or Galata where you will find one of the two breath taking beaches.
We have a representative who will meet you at the Airport and be available on call 24/7 we can help with Airport taxi / car hire which was can arranged for you.

We had a great couple of weeks in the villa, but I have really struggled with how to review it.
The villa was clean and well furnished, with almost everything you might need, however some of the information provided, and equipment could benefit from a little updating.
On our arrival the management company didn’t even bother to meet us, and just directed us to where they had left the keys. The outside space, with the exception of the pool, was poorly maintained, the bbq area was old and tired, the grass was long and dying, there was a full ashtray by the pool. This left us with a really poor first impression. It was all reported to the management company but despite following up nothing more was heard during the whole 2 weeks. I did notify the owner who was very apologetic, but struggled to do anything due to being overseas.
However, despite all this, we did have a fantastic couple of weeks. The children loved the pool, which was recently updated, and very clean. The local area is great, with loads to see and do within a reasonable distance. There is a lovely restaurant within walking distance and we got the bus into Varna on several occasions. You do need a car to get further afield, but driving is reasonably easy, if you are cautious of potholes and crazy overtaking!

This was a superb villa, one of the best we have stayed at. The villa was well appointed with everthing we needed and the pool and BBQ were some of the best we have used.Trevor and Elizabeth were extremely helpful all the way through from booking and during are stay. We would reccomend this villa to anyone.

We spent 10 wonderful days in this lovely place in August 2018.
The villa itself lived up to all our expectations. It was clean, spacious, fully equipped with everything and more you would need for your stay. The location was good for access to shops, bars and restaurants, although we would highly recommend car hire as it is quite remote and nothing is really 'walk-able'. There was plenty of information available to guide you towards local restaurants and beaches, all of which were lovely to visit.
We had a day out in Nessebar Old Town which was lovely, and we included a visit to the Aqua Park.
Top Tips - take teabags! I noticed this tip on one of the pages on the owners direct app and we were glad we did as they are hard to source in the supermarkets.
