About this villa rental
Kea, also known as Tzia, is one of the closest islands to Athens. Kea is a hidden gem in the Cycladic Islands and has its own unique style. There are very few hotels, mostly private houses are rented out, most or all made of local stone. The island has 45 beaches, most of them accessible by boat. Kea is the ideal island for those that want to relax, have good food and a great vacation.
The property is in a small complex with three other properties in the area of Akrotiri Otzia. There is a path that leads directly to the sea. The house is on two levels and consists of a living room with a fireplace, a dining area, a fully equipped open-plan kitchen and a w.c with a shower. On the upper level there are two bedrooms with one bathroom.. On the lower level, with an independent entrance there are two further guest rooms with double beds and en-suite bathrooms.
In the garden there is a swimming pool a covered dining area, as well as a large second covered seating area with a built in sofa, a BBQ and an oven.
The villa is fully air-conditioned and has mosquito blinds and parking.
The villa will be de-sanitized, including the air-conditioning units before guests arrive and after their departure.

If you are looking for a really relaxed holiday (as we were) this property and Island are fantastic.
The outdoor space of the Villa works extremely well, with a fab view and amazing pool with lots of different spaces and furniture to chill out. It really does have everything you need. The property inside is also lovely but you don’t tend to spend much time there. Although it’s in a block of about 4 identical villas they have been built cleverly so you don’t see each other, and it feels very private. You can access the sea very easily on foot directly from the Villa but unfortunately the wind picked up during our stay so we couldn’t swim or snorkel in it much as it was a bit rough, but the first few days it was pretty calm.
The only thing I would highlight for people with younger children is that (as they mention in the description of the property), 2 of the bedrooms have a completely independent entrance. What we didn’t realise before we arrived was that those two rooms aren’t accessible at all from within the main house and are in a completely separate annex, which although is attached to the main house you have to go outside and down the external stairs to access them. This wasn’t a problem as two of my children (12 and 14) were quite happy having their own independent space, but if they were younger this could have been a problem at night for us.
The Villa feels quite remote but is located with a couple of different beaches with great Tavernas close by and also the port and Vourkari (with their shops and restaurants and huge yachts) within a short drive. These have a great vibe with so many options to eat and drink you feel quite close to everything, which you might not feel staying on other parts of the island.
Maria, who manages the property, is also extremely enthusiastic and will help you with anything. She arranged Ferry tickets, donkey rides (a great experience!) and taxis for us which saved us a huge stress and provided us with memories our kids will remember forever. The property gets cleaned regularly and any small problems are sorted out extremely quickly.
Can’t fault this property or the island. We wanted a completely relaxing holiday and it’s exactly what we got. Thank you!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem Haus auf Kea. Tolles Objekt, herrlicher Ausblick, sehr großzügige Terrasse und: ein eigener Weg in eine einsame Bucht. Das Haus selbst bietet viele Möglichkeiten und ausreichend Platz für 6-8 Personen. Maria Lemos ist sehr sehr bemüht und eine perfekte Gastgeberin.
Sie hat uns am Hafen abgeholt, begleitet, das Haus erklärt und war stets für jegliche Anliegen erreichbar. Top Service! Fazit: wir werden gerne wieder kommen.😎😎
