The accommodations were clean and had everything needed for a good stay including a laundry closet. The location is central to many areas to see in Quebec City. We loved the neighborhood with several good restaurants. Pharmacy and grocery store within easy walking distance. That includes an ice cream parlor. There is a square across from the ice cream parlor with lots of tables and chairs and a piano that people come and play on a regular basis.

The description failed to mention that the unit is over an Irish bar. There is an outside deck for the bar on the side of the building that is directly below the unit's bed area. On nice weather at night there is significant conversation heard from the people sitting on the deck. Otherwise we did not here any significant noise from the interior of the bar ( We stayed for 3 nights during the week). On our last morning starting at 545am a beer truck delivered several kegs of beer to the bar. I am not a lite sleeper, but it woke me up and the noise went on for about a 1/2 hour of clanking around? Of our 2 weeks in Canada the bed was the smallest and not the greatest. A new mattress or mattress topper would go a long ways.

It was very clean and well equipped with kitchen appliances/utensils, plenty of towels/washcloths available, felt very safe staying here as a solo traveler, parking was great since I had a rental car but I used the free bus pass once I arrived and it was very convenient. Pedro and Helene were very friendly and super responsive to any questions I had. The pictures don’t do it justice-it’s even more beautiful in person!
