Running waters Lodge

We've stayed in other lodges on this location we found running waters to be the best we've stayed in its very well finished my daughter described the property as very clean, comfy n cozy would definitely stay there again

There was nothing to dislike to be honest everything we required for our stay was at hand my grandkids loved it

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay which was relatively local to what we needed and why we were there.

Excellent accommodation for 6 people with the 1 double and 2 twin rooms, 2 showers and toilets, and a bath

The bathroom smelt when we arrived as did the small bath towels so we ended up buying new bath sheets and an air freshener which helped a little but there was still a smell when we left. Also the shower over the bath gave little more than a trickle but the second shower was fine.

Family fun

Spacious cottage plenty of living spaces and bedrooms are nice and comfortable. A lof of storage places, good for families with lots of luggage. Very clean too. The owners are very thoughtful and left lots of information leaflet, they were very helpful for us who don't plan things ahead. Snacks and tea were in the room made us feel so welcome. The facility are good. It has all a family would need. We went swimming a few times in the site as well. They have an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool. The site was very quiet at night. Very good for sleeping in. Good location of the cottage, very close to shop and pub. Pub food is good but if you want to cook the cottage got cooker and pots and pans. So lots of choices. There were games in the room left for kids to do too. The owners are very friendly and let us know all the instructions before we arrived. A great place for families. I would recommend.

We enjoyed it because we enjoy exploring. But the advertising needs updating and so does the information pack in the lod

The location was convenient and beautiful.

It is advertised with free wifi - there isn’t any in the lodge. it advertises pool, table tennis etc. it doesn’t mention that you not only have to pay to use the facilities, but you have to provide your own equipment. We couldn’t use the pool table as we had no change and there’s no change vending machine, nor can you get change from the shop/reception/pub. That’s information we needed before we left Australia so we could add it in our budget. We went there because of the facilities and then didn’t use them.

Excelent accomodation...Restaurant menu, pool, game room could do better, driveways need work.

The lodge itself was great, hsk could have done better but i wontfault them in these harsh times for hospitality.

The drive through out the ground needs work and the speed bumps are way too tall.

Superb

We spent a lovely week at Running Waters. The lodge was nice, clean and well equipped. The beds were comfy and 2 bathrooms for a group of 5 were great. The lounge was comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone. We definitely recommend Running Waters to anyone who wants to spend a nice, pleasant time in Cornwall

Overall a pleasant and enjoyable break at Honicombe Park

Very clean accommodation, Honicombe Park and facilities were excellent and very easy to get out and about to explore Cornwall

Unfortunately there were some building work at the lodge next door which meant our break was not as tranquil as we were hoping. I fully understand that maintenance work has to be done and this did not ruin our holiday.

Lovely lodge in a beautiful area. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 teenagers, lodge close to reception/shop, bar and leisure facilities, staff all very friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again

Shower was poor . Ensuite shower was better, but only really got warm enough by the time the 4th person used it. Pathway down to chalet a bit treacherous if your balance or mobility is compromised in any way.

Goede locatie, huisje wat muf en te verouderd voor deze prijs, veel lawaai op het domein

Buitenzwembad erg leuk bij goed weer. Goede ligging voor uitstappen in Dartmoor NO of aan de kust (in Fowly een leuke boot gehuurd met ons gezin)

Voor deze prijs mag je een niveau hoger verwachten… de ruimtes roken een beetje muf, tv was verouderd (geen koppeling met streaming mogelijk), wifi werkte maar niet in elke slaapkamer. De zwembaden zaten in de prijs inbegrepen maar nogal omslachtig dat je steeds moet reserveren via het internet en geen ‘vrije’ toegang op het moment zelf als je zin hebt om te zwemmen. We kwamen op zoek naar rust, wat mogelijk moet zijn, het meest vervelende was in de twee dagen dat wij er verbleven van 10-17u een bosmaaier/bladblazer actief waren om het gras af te doen/ weg te blazen die erg veel lawaai maakten waardoor we elkaar soms zelfs niet konden horen bij het praten.
