The room was spacious with beautiful views, the breakfast was lovely and the bed very comfortable.

Personally I'm not one for the bathroom being part of a bedroom. While I don't mind a bath tub in a master bedroom, I was glad I was staying alone so didn't need to go to the toilet with someone else listening in! Partitioning the bathroom off would make it so much better. The noise from the house was very evident, I could hear an entire telephone conversation of someone in the house as if they were right next to me so not very noise proof.

Nothing we could not get in contact at scheduled check in time, we showed up at location and there was no one there, we phoned, and emailed no response, there was underwear hanging on lines in the house and had a Deliverance kind of feel. Host did contact me at 2200 to ask where we were so obviously not listening to voice-mail, or reading txt messages or emails.

The welcome was wonderful. I loved the room and the outlook. Breakfast was continental and very nice. A comfortable and most enjoyable stay.

I had not taken slippers & so the tiles were a little cold in winter - not a big problem but the only issue I had.

Bit strange having toilet so close to kitchen. Windows very wet in the morning so couldn't see the view. Stepping stones to front door ok for people with long legs ....not for dragging suitcase over. Electric blanket on bed would be nice
