Sari Village Jungle Retreat

We had a fantastic stay at Sari village resort. The house is huge and has everything that you could need for a stay. The resort is set in the jungle so you regularly see monkeys, beautiful birds, iguanas and frogs . It is close to town but you really need to hire a car ( which is so cheap) or order a taxi to get to and fro. The owner was so friendly and dropped us into town on numerous occasions rather than us call a taxi. He took us out on a boat trip and provided local breakfast and lunch and told us all about Langkawi,its history and all about the Mangroves. Would definitely recommend!!

Excellent host; peaceful location, excellent views.

Just one point - Grab drivers hesitate to come to this location since it is steep uphill. More so while returning from city. Pick up is still easy since the driver can easily see the pick up location before accepting ride.

Exceptional location, exceptional view, calm and indeed, a jungle retreat, monkeys making a different show every day, birds, lizards, frogs, coming to you. Superb terrace. Great host, very caring, drove us personally to show us the good restaurants and introduce us to the area, sent fruit every morning, was available for all requests (we were lucky to enjoy an early check in and a late check out which we truly appreciated as it was a short trip)

Bathroom facilities are not very modern but still good enough

Nice view, located very close to island hopping, when we reported an issue, they attended to it immediately.. House owner was very friendly, helpful and kind. He gave us a lot of tips about spotting animals n birds near the stay.

Facilities very ok .. not great .. Toaster did not work properly.. No AC in the living room, and the fan was also very slow .. have to stay inside the bedrooms on hot days .. Microwave was very dirty, not usable .. Toothbrush, handwash , face towels were not provided.
