Villa Meranti - Spacious Private Pool Villa

Een fantastische plek. Prachtige rustig gelegen villa met veel privacy en heerlijk zwembad.

We hadden een of meerdere muizen in de keuken. Etenswaar goed opbergen in kastjes waar de muis niet bij kan. Ook nieuwsgierige apen de op bezoek komen voor eten. Zijn erg vrijpostig. Gingen uiteindelijk vanzelf weg.

It is just a beautiful private villa, spacious, not that far from the main tourist beach. In the middle of the jungle with all its beautiful sounds and especially at night under the stars in the sky. The hosts were so friendly and gave great tips when we needed. They responded quickly to our questions! If you can book this Villa.. it is so worth it❤️❤️❤️❤️

We loved everything❤️. Maybe the only thing is that staff for cleaning the pool and garden were there in the morning arround 8 or 9 am. We were informed about staff being there, only not about the timing. I am 100% sure if we would have asked about the staff to do the maintenance at a different time the host would arrange it.

Puiki vieta tiems, kas mėgsta privatumą ir buvimą gamtoje. Vila yra atokiau nuo kaimynų, viena kiemo pusė - tiesiog status kalnas su atogrąžų augalais ir gyvūnija (paukščiai, retos ir ramios beždžionėlės - Dusky leaf monkey), kitur - aptverta aukšta tvora. Papildomas čiužinys (šeštam žmogui) - puikiai tiko ant svetainės sofos, tad visi 6 gyvenom labai komfortabiliai. Buvo visa reikalinga virtuvės įranga ir būtiniausi smulkūs produktai: aliejus, druska, tirpi kava, t.t. Kiekviena patalpa turi atskirą kondicionierių. Labai paslaugūs ir rūpestingi šeimyninkai.

Vila yra atokiau nuo pagrindinių gatvių, tad nuomotas automobilis buvo svarbu. Keliukas iki vilos yra siauras, tad mažiau patyrusiems vairuotojams geriau važiuoti mažais automobiliais (dviem mažais automobiliais, jei keliauja 6 žmonės). Mes nuomavomės autobusiuką (autobusiuką iki 12 žmonių), bet mes puikiai susitvarkėm - atvažiavom, pravažiavom.

The villa itself is absolutely gorgeous and the hosts are very communicative and helpful. There is some gorgeous wildlife all around you, from the field of about 30 water buffalo right outside the villa to the monkeys which swing by the trees bordering the pool. I wish this villa was better located, we would have stayed longer if we felt safer.

The villa description recommends you to rent a car/scooter, but doesn’t tell you why. The villa is located at the end of a very remote and borderline dangerous gravel path with very few other properties around it. Taxi drivers were extremely reluctant to drive up the rocky, narrow path, especially at night where there is very limited lighting. The walk to the nearest beach is at least 30 minutes, which we wouldn’t mind but we didn’t feel safe walking up this path at night. Thankfully the hosts were extremely understanding and refunded our stay. Additionally, when we arrived the pool was out of service, but the hosts were very apologetic and were already fixing the issue when we arrived.
