About this house rental
In the Center of the Baroque Center of Catania, exclusive old house from the Eighteenth Century, on two floors, with a small balcony, with old furniture and particular care of all details. The house has every comfort: air conditioning, heating, wireless internet.
You will be able to enjoy a comfortable living room with a double bed, an additional single bed in a loft, a room with a French bed and a bath. In the living room there are 2 sofa beds (each for 2 people).
The rooms are equipped with linen; the kitchen has an oven, stove, kettle, pots and everything needed for cooking.
Wifi is free.
The house is quiet, in the historic center, in the middle of the main tourist sites.
The house has been renovated with love and care in every detail: please treat it with love.
Along the Via Crociferi, you can reach the Cathedral and the Diocesan Museum in Piazza del Duomo; from there the Ursino Castle, the historic residence of Frederick II of Swabia, which houses the Ursino Castle Civic Museum, in the square with its popular restaurants. Catania, Vincenzo Bellini, then the writer of Giovanni Verga, the Greek Theater, the Roman Amphitheater.
Within walking distance are the Etnea. 2 km Central Station, and 3 km the airport.
The location can be reached not only by car, but also by public transportation: the airport is connected by a car that will take you downtown in about 15 minutes; the station can be reached by bus or on foot in 15 minutes on foot. In about 10 minutes you can walk to Piazza Borsellino / Alcalà with the Bus Terminal to various destinations, from Palermo to Syracuse, etc. The beach of Playa (not advice) is a 10 minute bus ride from Piazza Borsellino / Alcalà. San Giovanni Licuti can be reached with buses that stop in Piazza Europa.

We could not get gas range to work but did not cook anyway.Everything good. Maybe a hair dryer.?Salvo was wonderful to meet and so hospitable and friendly ‘Many thanks to himGrazia was most responsive . Also ‘many thanks .We soooo enjoyed our stay!

A beautiful apartment in a fantastic location, very handy for all Catania’s attractions and some fantastic restaurants, A short walk to the amazing fish market a must to see how fresh fish can be. We also enjoined an amazing meal at Locanda Cerami, The house has an amazing host in Salvio, super helpful getting to the location and his super useful guides, a big thank you from the both of us

This was the perfect place to retire to at the end of another hot day. The terrace could not be better for a final nightcap or a first coffee. Wonderful decorations and fascinating books, plenty of room to move about in, a kitchen that’s fully equipped: please can we live here?

Really great unusual quirky flat, full of character, very spacious, quiet and safe with a very pleasant terrace in a superb location. Well equipped kitchen and generally clean although more attention could be paid to that esp. in the top bathroom (bath seal & shower screen). But it is a wonderful place, we really enjoyed being there and would return without any hesitation.
