The owners are very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The flat is nicely designed and equipped with everything needed where needed (iron + ironing table, professional air dryer, washing machine and tumble dryer, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, electric oven, microwave, toaster, boiler, coffee machine, TV, extra bedding and much more). The shower is just right - pressure and temperature are reliable. The decoration has been thought through and add this personal touch that makes one feels at home. Highly recommend to stay there as the location allows for the exploration of the city centre, and is +/- 20 min drive away from the Marais Poitevin and about 1h road trip to La Rochelle where there is plenty of sightseeing and activities on the top of the local beaches. For those who don't drive, the train station is a 15 min walk away and the bus network is free of charge. Good opportunity to reach both Oléron and Ré islands and see the Fort Boyard for those interested in historical buildings or cycle in the Marais Poitevin. Overall, good value for money when comparing to what one gets in a hotel for the same fee (none will disturb you in the morning to do the daily cleaning or you won't hear noisy people checking in at 2am for example). Hats off to the owners to make this flat available in the area. Thank you.
