About this apartment rental

This is a stunning holiday home, furnished with quality and style so you can relax and enjoy your break. Beautifully furnished and fully equipped inside, with a wonderful south facing terrace outside, looking over the immaculate gardens, swimming pool and out to sea.

Each year we invest in refreshing the apartment so it is like new for guests. Fully painted earlier this year we have just had the floors professionally cleaned so guests in 2019 can be guaranteed a modern, luxurious and clean apartment. We also invest in new, quality linen and towels every year so you are in total comfort.

The apartment genuinely has everything you need to enjoy your stay, whether that be for a week or several months.

Things that make this apartment different and genuinely better include:

- Comfortable beds, quality linen, comfy sofa, stylish dining table and chairs and coffee table

- Free 30MB fibre wifi

- Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, kettle, toaster and all the pots, pans and utensils you could ever need. We also have an Italian coffee pot, French press and teapot! These things are important!

- JBL wireless speaker so you can play music in the apartment or take it with you to the pool & beach

The complex is gated and secured with a key fob access system so you can relax knowing you are in a safe as well as beautiful environment. A document safe is another little extra for peace of mind.

The apartment is cleaned for four hours before each visit so you are guaranteed a spotless apartment.

Sit on the balcony and enjoy the stunning view that overlooks the so inviting swimming pool & the sea just beyond. The complex is graced with lots of space, beautiful gardens and low rise apartments - meaning you will feel like you are in an oasis of calm. There is underground parking and a lift that goes right outside the door, so hassle free for bringing in your bags and perfect for people with disability. Inside all the furniture is of the highest quality & contemporary cool. Year round there is a pool open for your use.

We are 10 minutes walk to a wonderful beach, 2 minutes to 5* Finca Cortesin hotel and golf course, home of World Golf Matchplay Championship and one of the world's top 100 hotels and a 1 minute walk from a super 9 hole course with its gym, hairdressers, bar and restaurant. There are great places to eat nearby and we are also only 4 minutes from the atmospheric Port of Duquesa, 10 to Estepona, 20 to Puerto Banus. Fun, fine food & fascinating places on our doorstep. The beauty of this place is that it combines the tourist attractions of the Costa Del Sol with the culture of real Spain. Casares is a small white village less than 10 minutes up the road and Sabinillas is a real Spanish town just two minutes away where you can get all your groceries, tapas and drinks, or just walk along the beautiful promenade beside the sea. Enjoy it.

We had a fabulous stay, the apartment is well equipped with everything you need (even with an infant in tow). It was clean and well located for where we wanted to be with plenty of places to visit and eat within east reach. Colin and Suzanne the apartment manager were super helpful and the apartment guide contained tons of information.. the pool was easily accessible and perfect for both our infant and toddler. Thank you for a wonderful first holiday abroad as a four, we hope we can come back again soon!

A really lovely apartment and perfect base for exploring the area. Well equipped, clean and tidy and has everything you need for a holiday with the added bonus of beach chairs, parasol and a cool box. The south facing view are stunning and the BBQ on the balcony is brilliant, we used it a lot! The swimming pool area was great too, always sun beds available and never over crowded. The only downside was the washing machine, but that will never be a deal breaker. If we are coming back to this area we wouldn’t hesitate to book this apartment again. We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, the communication with the owner and the local point of contact was exemplary. We used the bbq, enjoyed the views over the pool, the beds were comfortable. We will book this apartment again.

The apartment was the perfect size for my family. It had everything in it we needed. Some appliances could do with an update but still worked. Lovely property manager that left a welcome hamper and gave us all the information we needed. Would definitely recommend!

Apartment was excellent for a family of 4, it had a wonderful view and the pool is excellent, bigger than most you’ll find in this area. Owner was very good with care and communication and offered us the use of a trove of personal items in his on site store, including a paddle board and beach equipment which was much appreciated. Pleasant walk to beach (10 mins)

The property was lovely and very well equipped. The grounds superb. Very quiet but we enjoyed that. Checking in could have been a problem as the property manager had some problems and couldn’t meet us but Colin sorted this out remotely and kept in contact the whole time to make sure everything was ok.

As golfers all courses were close by, Key holders responded A1 to any queries, comms very good all round. Pool area nice, clean and tidy and very convenient. Apartment was more than adaquate for our needs .

We stayed in the apartment for around 10 days. The apartment was lovely and clean, checking in was simple. And our host was very helpful in the lead up to the holiday and when booking. We know the area well, the location of the apartment is great. Would defiantly recommend hiring a car for your stay as the location is near so many different towns so it’s good to be able to to drive around and visit different places. But if you don’t drive there is a taxi rank at the bottom of the road (around a 5 minute walk). The pool is great, the children enjoyed the pool very much. Thanks again, our holiday was lovely.

Spent a couple of days emailing properties for availability on different platforms after staying with friends. Property owner replied promptly with availability & PDF attachment of info & directions which was great. Apartment is in secure complex, overlooked one of the pools which was lovely. 2 Bedrooms great for our 3 adults as the daughter had joined us! Had all the facilities we needed including an unexpected Welcome pack of wine/tea/coffee/milk/bread. :) Great to have a covered garage & get into a cool car! Not a lot within walking distance so a car is needed here. Bit of a smell outside in the lift lobby area some days which may have been plumbing. The exterior of the building could do with some maintenance but it didn't detract from our holiday. Overall a good break away despite Covid! Would recommend this apartment

Our second time renting this apartment. Again it provided us with everything we wanted, quiet area situated in secure well kept grounds. You do need your own transport if you are to take full advantage of the local area. Plenty to do with days on the beach, off shore fishing, shore line walks, try out the many restaurants and not forgetting shopping trips to La Canada at Marbella,, Purto Banus, Estepona and Gibraltar to mention but a few. Many thanks to Colin, Suzanne and Bob for ensuring our time in Spain was a memorable one.

We stayed for 2 weeks in this apartment, two adults and two children (7 and 4). Met with Suzanne after a 60 minute drive from the airport, she had text us upon arrival at Malaga and she met us just outside the complex. She showed us where to park in the secure underground car park, and then took us up to the apartment where we were shown how to work everything and given a brief as to some of the nice places to visit and recommended restaurants. Nice touch that there was a bottle of red wine waiting for us. One of the main things for me, was the availability and reliability of the wifi. Also the tv had netflix build in, so there were plenty of movie nights and binge watching series which we'd been meaning to do for ages. The garage which comes with the parking space, had loads of stuff in there for us to use, such as deck chairs and loungers for the beach, inflatables, a pump, arm bands etc. Worth noting, that this year was apparently the first year that you can't take inflatable lilos in to the pool. Some rule by the Spanish so that people can't injure themselves. It didn't detract from the holiday though. The apartment overlooks the pool, and has a really decent gas BBQ so you can cook your own tapas whilst taking in the evening sun. Pool was really nice, and was warm as well which was great for the kids. Always loungers available (first time in years I haven't had to wake up at 6am and put a towel down to reserve loungers by the pool). Neighbours were quiet, no rowdy people staggering home drunk and waking you up. Handy to have a washing machine and dish washer. Location is great, near to numerous towns and villages, restaurants and beaches. I'm not a golfer but I did visit the golf club to use their gym, which has decent equipment, but a little pricey at 7 euros 50 a go. Suzanne was always on hand when we text her for information or recommendations. The complex is great and you can use different pools if you fancy a change. Met some lovely people on the complex (it's a combination of English and Spanish) and it's a really family friendly place to go. Probably once of the best holidays we've had, and would definitely go back there again.

My family and I spent a restful three and a half months in the Casares del Sol holiday apartment. We had a car rental (recommended) during our stay which enabled us to explore the surrounding areas at our leisure. Regular breakfasts on the Estepona promenade and our weekly trips for supplies to Lidls at Sabillinas and Morrisons of Gibraltar proved a favourites with all the family. A big thank you to Colin, Bob and Susanne, you could not have been more helpful in making our stay in Spain an enjoyable one.

This is a great apartment in a nice quiet location. Very secure, comfortable and well equipped with everything that is required. Situate in well kept garden grounds with a lovely swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds. It is within easy walking distance of several restaurants and the beach.

My wife and I spent two months at Casares Del Sol and found the place met our needs very nicely. The property is sufficiently far from the crowds to make it quiet and peaceful, but close enough to enable us to enjoy everything the area has to offer. It is clear that the owner takes pride in the apartment and it was clean and comfortably furnished. We were a little concerned when, during our first week there, the heating/air conditioning unit stopped working. However, this issue was dealt with quickly and everything worked perfectly thereafter. We asked many questions before our arrival and Colin responded quickly and fully to every one of them. He did everything he could to make us feel welcome. We will certainly consider returning next year.

Very comfortable apartment in a low rise complex with beautiful gardens. The double bed has a comfy mattress (didn't use the singles but imagine they were also good quality), well equipped though small kitchen, fast Wi Fi and a good selection of English speaking channels on the TV. We spent many a happy hour on the large balcony with a gas BBQ which gets sun from late morning through to sunset and overlooks the garden and pool. Golf clubs were available on loan as were beach chairs. Both a much appreciated bonus. We had some issues initially with lost keys etc but the Manager sorted everything out most efficiently. A few bits need attention such as the rather tatty cooker hood and some chipped crockery but nothing that would spoil your holiday. A car is needed as it's a trek to the beach and in May the nearest pool was also closed so we had to drive to the pool. Lots of local places to eat, several local supermarkets, beautiful places to visit inland and an easy drive to Malaga. Recommended.

We (2 adults & 2 children) stayed in Colin's flat for 10 nights and had a fantastic time. The complex is clean, lush and well maintained, the pool area immaculate and with poolside toilets you could stay in the pool all day! The flat itself is very spacious and well appointed, plenty of towels/bedding as well as being clean & tidy. The addition of a washing machine proved really handy for us throughout the stay. Air conditioning & shutters in both bedrooms meant that a good nights sleep was had by all. While there we visited Puerto Banus (as recommended by Colin) to count Ferrari's - 11 in the space of an hour! Gibraltar & Marbella are both within easy driving distance, which are worth a visit too. The Lidl along the road was definitely the best supermarket, with it's fresh bakery it was without doubt the best place to stock up, open 7 days 9am-8pm. A big thanks to Colin for the use of his apartment, we had a fabulous time.

Lovely apartment on first floor. Nice views from terrace to garden, pool and sea. Easy access from garage via lift, though light in lift did not work. Shower in bedroom 2 was very small. Unfortunately the stay was spoilt by no English language TV, (but 40+ Spanish TV channels!) and "poor" and slow internet, that is if you could get on the centrally operated system. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay, and might return in the future. The Bahia Cacares area is beautiful. Family Hall

It was very good to have spent our holiday at this complex. We found the owners very helpful from beginning to end - providing us with all of the necessary information on the area - activities and local markets. As a frequent traveller and having travelled the entire coast line during our stay, we are certain that accomodation of this standard is not readily available at any of the resorts other than Marbella and Sotogrande where the rental price is more than double what we paid. The complex is spotless with beautiful gardens which are maintained to the highest standard - The swimming pool water was tested every morning, and the sun loungers around the pool were more than the normal plastic lounger which made a big difference to our comfort. The apartment is exceptionally well decorated and equipped - but the owner of this particular apartment has gone the extra mile to provide family entertainment. There were 5 sets of `excellent` golf clubs which is why we booked the apartment over any other - it saved us a total of £200 on travelling costs with Easy Jet, but more importantly, it saved us the hassle of carrying our own. The golf course is on the door step and only cost us 20 euros when used after 2pm. There was also outdoor kids games and board games for our younger children to make use of - this kept them very well entertained FOR FREE...and provided us with quality family time which was the main aim of our holiday. The owner was also thoughtful enough to have provided portable chairs- sunlounger and parasol for the beach which saved us a lot on the overall holiday. ( All beaches charge for sun loungers and parasol) The complex is well situated between Tormenolinos and Gilbratar - Gilbratar made an excellent day trip - Tormenolinos and the surrounding areas are not our idea of a holiday - overcrowded and extremely noisy - It was beautiful to return to our own little piece of luxury at the end of each day trip, and lovely to spend the day relaxing by a quiet pool. The towns of Sabinillas and Estepona are much nicer than the over-rated Marbella etc., The beaches are also much nicer and I have no hesitation in giving this complex and the apartment a 5 star rating in terms of quality. The town of Casares is well worth a visit, and an evening meal at one of the restaurants on route through the mountain is a memorable experience. Many thanks to Colin and Morris for everything. We would definately return.

We stayed in the apartment in October and found it to be a very restful holiday. As we were out of season the restaurants and other atractions were still open and the weather was fantastic. You are very much lower on the Costa del Sol so the weather is so much better and the area is not commercialised yet so it was a pleasure to still get the spanish feel for the area. The golf courses in the area were very good. But all in all the accommadation and the area it was in was very good.

All 3 generations of the family enjoyed a week of unbroken sunshine in early October. The appartment was lovely, facilities were excellent and as well as swimming in the lovely pool, we fitted in a 9 holes of golf at Casares, played bowls at nearby Benavista, visited outdoor market at Sabinillas, went shopping at La Canada and the kids enjoyed the huge playground at Estepona.

There are several superb golf courses within a few minutes of the appartment. Finca Cortesin, which is venue for world matchplay event next year is a 5 minute stroll. Seve Ballasteros' Valle Romano course is also world class. Free use of four sets of clubs was very thoughtful and much appreciated. A long sandy beach 5 minutes away is suitable for sunbathing or swimming. Several superb restaurants are nearby. Appartment itself is first class. Highly recommended.
