About this villa rental
Charming stone villa located in the heart of the Périgord Noir. Five minutes from the feudal village of Beynac, a veritable vestige of the Middle Ages, in which you will enjoy strolling its cobbled streets until you reach its castle, clinging to the rock.
Only ten minutes from Sarlat la Canéda, capital of black Perigord and famous tourist site. Come to discover its center town dating from the beginning of the Renaissance and discover its market where are sold the specialties of the area: foie gras, truffles, figs and nuts.
It is in the middle of this exceptional setting that the villa La Porte is located. You will appreciate in particular its panoramic sight on the emblematic valley of the Dordogne, with as a bonus, a unique interview on the feudal castle of Beynac.
You will find in this villa all the necessary comfort to spend several days in peace.
Inside, discover the charm of Perigordian houses with oak beams and a stone fireplace. The ground floor consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom and a large living room. Upstairs are three bedrooms with independent bathroom waiting for you. You can also enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, complete with a saddler, a dining room with its massive oak table and a lounge with a large sofa cook.
Outside, you have at your disposal a large terrace of more than 50m². An aluminum garden room awaits you for your meals on summer evenings by the pool.
Lovers of peace and nature will be delighted to walk in the garden surrounding the villa.
For parking, you have a closed garage, which can accommodate two vehicles and parking in front of the house.
This is our first year of rental.

We had a fantastic stay in Thierry's villa, which is located in a wonderful location, and with all the amenities you can think of. It was clean, spacious and all the basics were provided. Pool was a blessing given the lovely summer weather we enjoyed. Views on the dordogne and surrounding environment, given the location of the villa was exceptional. Thierry and Nathalie were excellent hosts, always kind,very responsive and helpful. Thank you for an excllent family holiday, we truly enjoyed every aspect of it anc recommend this ro everyone.

The best property we have ever stayed in. Stunning views from the terrace and pool. Very spacious accommodation. Comfortable beds. Cannot fault this property

This is a fantastic house. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out.
The terrace has the most amazing view over the Dordogne valley with 3 Chateaux. We made full use of the lovely pool area.
Beynac is at the bottom of the hill and plenty of the gems of the Dordogne are within easy reach, even Sarlat is only a 10 minute drive away.
The house is well equipped and very clean. Only slight downside is the wifi was patchy which meant hotspotting phones for the kids downtime at the end of the day, but not a major issue
We had a fabulous week here and will be looking to return.
