Newly Refurbished - amazing sea view

We had the most amazing time in Layals flat. The pictures are very accurate, the place is beautiful and very clean and the balcony is so spacious and perfect for all meals or just evening drinks.The kitchen is fully equipped and there’s even bin liners, aluminium foil etc. left by others so you don’t have to buy everything. There’s an ironing board, hair dryer, literally everything you need.The beach is just minutes away and so is the pool area. The main pool area is great! It’s very big, sun loungers are only 1 and you get a soft mattress. The young people working there are very nice and helpful. There’s another pool area on the other side of the Avenida, but we preferred the Playamar II. There’s also a kids’ pool, but we didn’t use it.The supermarket is just as close as the pool area and the beach so you have everything you need within five mins walk. We’ve been to Torremolinos many times before but this is by far the best place we’ve been to.Layal was very helpful, so flexible about check in and check out and always quick to respond.We cannot recommend this place enough!

We really loved this property and it's the best VRBO we've ever stayed in. The balcony and views of the sea were spectacular. Location was convenient to the beach and many restaurants. It was a little bit of an uphill walk to the town center but still only about 15 minutes by foot. Layout of the apartment was great. Beds were comfortable. We only had breakfast and lunch in the unit and everything was adequate for our needs, but we can't comment on what it was like to cook meals there. There is a great supermarket (Mercadona) two minutes away. Although we didn't use them, there are a lovely pool and tennis courts. There were so many conveniences in the apartment that you usually don't find. Three of us lived very comfortably there for 10 days. Note that the air conditioning is turned off part of the year (we were there in October). It wasn't a problem as the cross breeze with the balcony doors open kept the place plenty cool. Wifi was great. You'll need to brush up on your Spanish when you check in as the local contact does not speak English. Make sure you establish some way to contact her before she leaves as there were some issues communicating through Whatsapp (not her fault) which we can't explain. It would have been helpful to have a manual of printed instructions and important information, which other VRBO's have, and the main door lock was a bit balky. But overall, it was wonderful and we would love to come back to this property.

Wow what a fabulous apartment. 10th floor seaviews, modern interiors with everything you need to cook. It’s a beautiful apartment. Nesprecco type coffee machine. Large fridge freezer. Great bits & pieces were left in apartment such as coffee capsules, salt, oil, soap, dishwasher tables, washing up liquid etc. Makes arrival so much easier. Outside balcony has sofa and table and chairs. Gorgeous for dining outside with stunning views. Stayed with our family of 5, kids age 6, 10 & 12. They all loved it. Supermarket across the road, beautiful beach across road. Restaurants close by in every direction. All round a fantastic stay. The only negative from the kids is that the Pool is a bit strict, no pool toys allowed or floaties. Bit the pool is large and plenty sun beds with shaded areas.

Great location on the 10th floor and nice apartment, if somewhat noisy as one can hear the lady upstairs walking about each morning despite the concrete construction. The problem we encountered was that there was no cable TV after a heavy rain. On the second occurrence and after having no TV for 5 days we contacted the condo admin who immediately sent a technician who changed a connector and charged us 45 Euros which we paid. We contacted the property manager, the daughter of the owners who gave us her e-mail address and to whom we forwarded the invoice. There was no reply. We left several phone messages to no avail. We then contacted VRBO who contacted the lady who in turn sent us a message the she was looking for our e-mail. After that there was no further contact from her despite another message to her through VRBO. She obviously doesn't want to pay even though this repair benefitted not only us but also future renters of this property. I am also disappointed that VRBO wasn't more forceful in resolving this situation.
