The hotel has a unique atmosphere playing off the hotels burlesque history. The Maxime has a nice old school style bar and a plentiful breakfast buffet.
The hotel sits in a wonderful neighborhood across the street from Praça da Alegria Jardim Alfredo Keil with its lovely snack bar. Rossio is just a 15 minute walk away. We wish we could of stayed for the Saturday night burlesque show.
Just a couple of small things. The hand held shower head would not stay up in place and from our 4th floor windows we could watch custer across the street receiving their spa treatments. One of the beauticians waved and smiled a couple of times. For privacy keep the blinds closed.

The hotel was very central so easy to walk to the attractions and was in a very safe area. The staff were really friendly and helpful … we got a free bottle of red as a welcome gift and they let us swap it for a gorgeous rose wine as we don’t drink red wine! So lovely!
There wasn’t anything to dislike but a minibar would be very helpful

Came to Lisbon for a wedding, need a place to hang our hats. Great location for shopping and not a far walk to tons of restaurants. The room was as pictured and clean. Staff were very friendly and the a/c worked great. Breakfast was fine but nothing to rave about.
The lifts are very small.
