Fabulous gated estate with fantastic staff, comfortable room and delicious breakfast. A jem!

Courtesy of staff, very comfortable room for a family of 4 with ensuite. Tranquil, private garden and parking in a gated estate, with pool, swing and small garden. The breakfast was superb in terms of very fresh pastries and fruit, plenty of choice. We were able to charge our EV from the garden sockets at no cost.

One of the single beds had a wooden wedge as support - it was comfortable but please consider replacing or repairing the frame for safety.

Accommodation good, poor breakfast arrangement.

The room itself was good.

The breakfast was a random affair. The maid didn’t seem to be expecting me for breakfast and I didn’t have a clue whether the people already there were having their own food. Hostel type atmosphere - washing machine sink etc. When it was sorted out (translation on phone) a place was laid for me. Very little choice for the price of 10€. No meat, cheese, cereal just jams and honey. Poor value and didn’t feel welcomed.

It was great and super friendly

We have a young dog and didn’t expect that there would be cats and chickens and loads of kids. This is super charming and normally would be lovely, but it was very difficult to bring a young dog there and we wouldn’t have booked it if we had known there were so many cats and chickens. I think it’s maybe important to state that this is the setup if you allow people to bring their pets as it made our stay really difficult

Lovely stay near Lyon! Highly recommend

The host was lovely the part of the hotel we were staying in was freshly renovated it had good amenities and is located centrally enough. The main building and yard/garden is lovely and quiet. It has an almost fairytale like air to it. The pool was heated but still refreshing.

We were there with our dog and since there were chicken roaming around he had to (understandably)be kept on a leash. We tried to find a park nearby to let him run but there were only residential buildings and private yards which was quite disappointing but not the host's fault.

A little bit disappointing.

Bed was comfortable. Shower was fine. The locality was ok with good connections to Lyon. The other guests were friendly. Local cinema was great for a cinephile like me.

Room was ok for a night but for 6 days not so good. No desk, no comfortable chair, no sense of decor. No wardrobe. Toilet was a long way from the room and had no lighting. I booked for two but the room would have been even more inadequate for two people. The host was amicable but badly organised and barely awake at breakfast time. I asked if I could get an early breakfast on the day I left and it in fact it was later than usual and I had to leave without.

Did not feel that the breakfast was value for money at 10 euros per person. The only thing on offer was croissant and bread with preserves. There was also a fruit bowl available. We also felt it was a bit much to charge an extra 10 euros to park our car on the property.

The beds were very comfortable. The host was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was of high quality and enough to choose from.

The location is busy, lot of traffic, not convenient to travel in or out of town. The rooms are very nice but impractical and very noisy. It feels like everything needs to be paid on top like the parking, where there is actually no alternative to reach the place.

The house was charming and very helpful with recommendations.

It was more like an Airbnb in someone's house whilst they are living there. Lots of details were lacking in the listing such as the price of breakfast. The listing says the room was a triple however it really isn't- we asked for two beds as we were friends travelling together and the bed set up as the second bed was just two mattresses on the floor. I do expect proper beds when I'm paying for accommodation

Breakfast was family style and personalized with local produce and friendly atmosphere. The property is beautiful and unique. Room was spacious and full of character.
