New Apartment Bairro Alto

Although not in person, the owner was on-line during the whole process until we entered the apartment (we arrived long after working hours). He explained everything through the booking.com chat and was staying on the chat until we confirmed that everything's in order. Other than that, we found it a bit difficult to go up-hill to the apartment, untill we found out that the oposite street Calcada do Combro is much better choice to come from.

The apartment is in private area guarded by vehicle access bollard, so taxi cannot drive you to the apartment. I would appreciate it if I knew this before. Also, a tip to come from the Calcada do Combro side would be very helpful and save us some climbing.

The apartment was renovated and clean. The space was small but enough to get some privacy. The terrace was a nice addition. It had mostly all the basic necessities, including salt, vinegar and oil for cooking.

There was no lighting in the dining area. The cutting board was destroyed and a bit dangerous to use, the kitchen trash bin had no bag, there were no kitchen scissors. Small details that would go a long way.

Établissement plutôt grand, bien entretenu ! Plutôt bien placé dans Bairro Alto, à proximité de tout et à 15minutes à pied du centre.

Après un séjour là bas, j'ai eu des boutons, probablement punaises de lit. Ce qui est assez étrange car tout l'établissement est tout de même propre. Pas beaucoup d'eau chaude.
