Toyoko Inn Seoul Dongdaemun II

The staff and breakfast was nice along with proximity to the station. I also liked the bathroom.

I went in winter and they only heat the room with Air conditioning which wasn't warm enough. The room was cold, especially my feet because there were no heated floors and the air conditioning was at the top of the room so no heat reached the floor. There are also 2 Tokoyo hotels within 50m of each other so I ended up at the wrong one at first.

Location is superb subway exit 4 is door step and easy to access by elevator plus the airport bus is less than 100m away.

The breakfast is good but I think could be better with more selection and

hotel was in front of subway exit (alot alot stairs with no escalator choice) so it's advisable to walk further down to use the elevator instead. hotel have free breakfast, selection is acceptable, taste 8/10. hotel lobby has some free toiletries like lotion, shampoo, bodywash, facial wash, comb, green tea satchets, instant black coffee satchets for guests consumption. staff are generally friendly and helpful. we can choose not to let them enter room and clean, they will still provide fresh towels and new drinking water bottles.

2 star hotel. lift smells bad sometimes. room only has 2 bottles of water, 1 kettle, 2 mugs. hotel room itself only have dispenser shampoo, conditioner, bodywash. (no toothpaste, or soap or anything else) no wardrobe, only 4 hangers for 2pax. 1 wall knob only. tv is on table. cannot see unless u don't use their dressing table. bed is flush to wall. very difficult to get off the bed. bed is too soft and pillow is way too flat. toilet is smaller than cruise interior toilet. no space to open luggage. the soundproofing is very bad. 1/10. i could hear next door talking. in general, the room is not for picky people.
