It was compact but we had everything we needed (kitchen facilities) and space to relax as well. Everything was very clean. There were many towels to use and even pajamas. Being able to use the coin laundry at the hotel next door was also very helpful. Our host Saito-San was very welcoming and helpful. He even arranged for us to watch the Sumida Firework festival from the neighbouring hotel rooftop and he gave us souvenirs on our last day. So kind, it was greatly appreciated. We had a wonderful stay.
There were a lot of amenities and brochures available (very nice) but that made space for our own things difficult.
