About this apartment rental
Feel the Hawaiian breeze from Large window (PM04). One of the most affordable rooms in Pacific Monarch and all over Waikiki. You will be suprised with the high quality of the room with the price!!
This classy studio will become a nice castle to recharge for a new day exploring Waikiki.
You can see the beautiful sunset from the living room. You will forget all worries by looking the sunset.
A small kitchenette is there for you to prepare some snacks or even cook as it is fully equipped.
A balcony with panoramic windows to admire city, ocean and mountains. A queen size bed soft like a cloud is wanting you to melt down there and fully recharge for an adventurous day. A sofa to sit down for a while and watch the TV. What else someone needs on a vacation.
Pacific Monarch is centrally located in Waikiki, with a great variety of places nearly at its doorsteps. Just a few blocks away from the building is a large concentration of shopping centers, such as Pualeilani Atrium and the International Marketplace. As well as an ever-evolving scene of cafes, happy hours, international cuisine, and late-night bars to relax at with an exotic island refreshment.
There is truly no end to the stores to wander through, unique dining options, and entertainment such as Hula lessons or cultural shows closeby.
But, if you prefer to explore more of Waikiki or even the greater Oahu area, there are several transportation options.
There is a bus stop located 3 minutes from the Pacific Monarch building, which can take you to new surfing, snorkeling, shopping or sightseeing locations.
There is also a Biki rental bike stand nearby, which can be used to explore Waikiki.
You will definitely enjoy all of the perks of the Island Colony condo itself, which offers a nice pool and Jacuzzi. - all at an affordable price compared to similar hotels in central Waikiki.

Room was clean and perfect for the two of us. The kitchen and bathroom are somewhat small, but we did not really need anything more! We made breakfast every morning to save some money and had plenty of places to sit and eat or to relax and enjoy while spending time in our room. A short walk to the beach and many local stores and restaurants. Check in and check out was super easy and the property manager was easy to communicate with. Loved having a pool, hot tub, sauna, grills, and lounge area! This made it very easy to relax after a long day touring. For us, this was probably a once in a lifetime trip, but if we were to come back I would certainly look to see if this place was available!

We had problems with the door lock but it was rectified. The room needed a deep clean especially the air conditioner and the area around it. The air conditioner was not in a good location. It blew directly on the bed and the person laying on that side was uncomfortable especially as the a/c had a musky smell.

Property is an older style as most are. Very close to beach and amenities. No resort fees is a bonus with a top deck pool, spa, sauna and games room. TV didn't work and took me 3 days to work it out after retuning it. Some information on location, operating the TV and building amenities would be a lot better than the 12 page rental agreement. Could do with some new crockery and glasses. Plates chipped and coffee cups aged and cracked. Priced reasonable for Hawaii. Would I stay again? Probably.
