The Hay Barn, Le Texier was exceptionally clean with excellent facilities and location. Hosts Andrea and Terry were very helpful but unobtrusive. We loved being within easy walk of Verteillac, a lovely little village with a wonderful boulangerie, tardis like shop/supermarket and great little restaurant. I especially appreciated the clear and accurate walking guides/route maps that Andrea and Terry had included in the property info, that I used for running (felt perfectly safe for a female running alone). And the pool temperature, privacy and outlook were also particularly good. Would recommend this place without hesitation! Even if the beautiful resident cat next door was a little shy - we will just have to go back to try harder to charm her/him!
There were no negatives to the property, it was just what we were looking for.
