About this cottage rental
The Cottage is that rare find - a smaller property but with all the facilities and finish you would normally expect to find in a larger house. It's perfect for a couple to get away and relax. It’s also enjoyed by extended families wanting to rent both properties, with grandparents having their own space in the Cottage but with the rest of the family just across the garden!
This is a beautiful one-bedroom property. There is a large open-plan living and kitchen area with high beamed ceilings and stunning views across the fields towards the village.
The Cottage at Le Texier has a south-facing terrace area and garden with its own heated pool, in a lovely private setting with views across the fields towards Verteillac. There is an en-suite bathroom off the bedroom with a large rain-head shower above a bath.

Enjoyed a peaceful week in this charming 1 bed comfortable cottage with private pool. Lovely open countryside views.

The house is very well appointed, nothing missing, bed extremely comfortable and the pool is great specially we did use it a lot as the temperature rose to 40 C during our stay. We knew the area well so did not do much tourisme, the view from the house toward Verteiilac was enough. Wonderful sunset
The only let down was no light on the terrace so had to go and buy candles to sit out after dark and the terrace being in full sun all day, an owning of some sort would be great, two umbrellas are not enough.
For the price of the rental a welcome pack of the minimum ie salt, pepper, milk, a baguette
and some butter would be greatly appreciated.
If the summer continue to get hotter maybe an air conditioner unit will be necessary.
We wanted a week of calm and relaxation, we got it!

Merci à Andrea et Terry pour nous avoir accueilli avec tant de gentillesse. La communication a été facile en mélangeant l'anglais et le français 😉
Le gite est en tout point conforme aux photos 😃.
Très cosy et la piscine chauffée à 30° avec la terrasse sans vis à vis est un vrai plus.
Le 2ème cottage est suffisamment éloigné pour n'avoir aucune nuisance!
Le calme a été le mettre mot durant ce séjour. La vue de la terrasse sur les champs à perte de vue est époustouflante !
Andrea et Terry sont d'excellents hôtes à l'écoute et extrêmement discret.
