Liegt voll im Schatten, das Haus war sehr kalt bei der Ankunft, wir konnten aber den Ofen anheizen. Schon etwas abgewohnt. Ort in 20-30 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar

Sofa is not the most comfortable The steps up from the parking area were a bit of a challenge for older folks who travel with too much gear.

woodburner was a bit smoky when lit, only lit once during my stay.

We’ve used this property 3 or 4 times in recent years and have noted ongoing deterioration in condition and evidence that maintenance is not being undertaken. As an example, there was a handwritten note taped to the bedroom electric heater saying it was not working and was awaiting repair - we are convinced it’s exactly the same note that was there a year ago! The outside decking - essentially the first impression of the property, looked shabby, it needs cleaning and protecting. Windows needed cleaning. The information folder is a mess and needs updating and replacing and the crockery seems a fairly random selection. Furniture is dated and well used, not as comfortable as it once perhaps was. The fridge freezer compartment needed defrosting. And the bathroom looks like it’s out of the 1970s with worn and discoloured spa bath fittings and plastic shower curtains. We will take some convincing to consider using it again. The potential remains great but this time it felt very expensive for what we actually received.
