About this house rental
Immaculate, modern 3 Bedroom home + sleep out centrally located only 5 minutes walk down to beach, shops and restaurants. A warm and sunny modern home with large open plan living that flows out onto an ample sized deck area . Sited in a private right of way it offers sheltered pleasant view of the sea and hills . Property has wifi.
This property is in within 5 minutes’ walk down to the centre of the village of Akaroa and all it offers, and is well suited to those wanting to explore the beautiful Bank Peninsula region.
Tourist activities include both dolphin watching and swimming with dolphins, guided kayaking, fishing and swimming, hiking, walks and a relaxed village around which you can just stroll and enjoy the views, the people, the atmosphere...
There’s a good children’s playground if travelling with children, beaches for playing in and a pleasant drive by car to the outer bays of the Peninsula will find some of the best unspoilt beaches in Canterbury. Banks Peninsula even has a couple of hidden surfing spots which are world renown. The village also boasts a decent sized supermarket, many cafes, and a host of wonderful restaurants. The safe bay also offer great walks and hikes, along with boutique shopping, galleries, wineries and the famous Barry Point cheese factory.
Akaroa is 1,5 hours from Christchurch city, and has a regular mini-bus service operating between Christchurch City, and both the International and Domestic airports if you’re arriving from another city.

Great spacious house, host communication was excellent, Tracey called back when I had questions. She warned me about the different levels inside the house and steps down to the sleepout. Bring all kitchen supplies, but plenty of utensils, plates etc. Would happily stay here again. Thank you

Such a great location - just a short walk down to the Four Square and waterfront. The home was really spacious - with 3 bathrooms, a large open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area opening onto a sunny deck! Very clean and tidy - would highly recommend!
