For a hotel in this price range, it was really good. The hotel is run by a nice family, who keeps the premises super clean. I had a room with a nice view on the bay (a bit obstructed by a hideous huge complex built in front of it). Aircon worked perfectly. Water was hot and with good pressure. Location is really great, in downtown and super close (short walk) to the nice beaches
Breakfast was not available when I visited because the cook was not there. But I got a discount to make up for it, without even asking for it.

Location is amazing despite the monster development happening which is impacting all properties in the downtown area.
Staff were fairly absent but it was fine since we didn’t need anything.

Ive worked the last 45 years in construction and even London would be Proud of the size of the construction site Blocking my Sea View
I thought the lads on the construction site where lazy i mean come on they stopped for 6 hours a day and didnt make noise

Convenient for exploring Cat Ba and tour starts
The fact that the photos shown on the website did not reflect the fact the sea is no longer near the hotel due to the massive development opposite
