Mountain Getaway in the Heart of the White Mountains

Mountain retreat says it all! Our A-frame home is a place where we disconnect. From the deck, you can enjoy the sounds of the Eastbranch River, many birds, and the peace and quiet of the mountains. We see quite a bit of wildlife including bear, turkey, fox, an occasional deer or moose, and at night we hear owls a lot. Many nights have been spent outside enjoying time with friends and family by the fire pit. Our home is designed for the outdoor enthusiast in mind.. Comfortable and casual, clean and inviting. Great front entry to store all your gear, which opens into a galley style kitchen. It's small but well stocked so you'll only really need to bring food. Spices, basic ingredients, and plenty of cookware are there for you to use. The main living area has a sofa, 2 leather chairs, and plenty of space for kicking your feet up and enjoying the gas fireplace after a fun day out. There is a dining table that seats 4 comfortably which looks out to Mt Kearsarge and Mt Surprise in the winter (the sun rises from this direction and is quite beautiful). The bathroom is on the main level as well. As with most A-frames, there is access to the upstairs by way of the ladder type stairs. Kids love it, however it isn't for everyone. Upstairs there are two bedrooms... one bedroom with a queen bed and the other with 2 twins. Both are small but very comfortable with tempurpedic mattresses and luxurious bedding.
