This was a perfect location to access the cross country ski trails. Decor was a bit outdated and the lighting was poor, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our only suggestion to the owner was to include the transfer station hours with the directions. We had be out by 11 but the transfer station didn't open until 12. If we had known, we would have planned ahead and taken it the day before, instead of bringing our trash back home. Would consider staying again.

A nice home in a good location. A musty smell on the lower levels probably due to summer and humidity. The only inconvenience was the need to carry out our trash.

Scott's house is literally located 8-10 min away from Settler's Crossing (outlet, groceries, local stores, etc). It is far enough away from the traffic and touristy areas yet close enough if we needed to buy something. Easy access going to Kancamagus Hwy and Crawford Notch.
The house is as described with its semi-rustic setting and accommodated the 6 of us (all adults) comfortably. Cable and wi-fi exceeded our expectations.
The only recommendations I have is for the kitchen to have a microwave oven and maybe a few more eating utensils (forks and spoons).
Would love to stay again in the future.
