Lodge "Ezīša Midziņa"

Remote and isolated place, you can really relax peacefully there.

We came there in the middle of the night, so the lodge was very cold, and it took a minute to actually to heat it up. And the drive in road wasn’t great, but it was worth the ride.

Cabin 7 is a lovely place to relax, with a beautiful river view from the backyard terrace. We really enjoyed the BBQ and the sun loungers. The orthopedic mattress was very comfortable, and my back definitely appreciated it. Waking up to birds singing was a great start to the day, and having morning coffee by the river was simply wonderful. A perfect spot for a peaceful getaway or more active if you like water sport or play volleyball (there is a sand court and net).

Just a small suggestions for improvement; the main entrance door does not have curtains. Since it's located directly opposite the bathroom and there is also a mirror in the hallway that reflects the bed area - privacy felt a bit limited. In addition, it was quite bright at night due to the outdoor light coming through the glass door. Also installing mosquito nets on the windows could improve the overall experience, especially during summer time. For future guests -sleep mask and pajamas might be useful as well as some protection against mosquitoes and other insects.

Great area around, some cool nature spots around. In general good looking room. Cool terrace.

We stayed around Ligo (two days before) and that was a huge mistake. First - the room is on the second floor basically, above public showers. It's pretty loud + annoying to use stairs every time you need to get out or in. Camping was pretty crowded and there were a lot of people right below our windows that was drinking and singing etc in the night. Host didn't bother them and we needed to sort this up ourselves, dealing with absolutely drunk men, who end up beating our door after 12 pm. The bathroom in the room is a cool feature, but it is very small even for a woman, but for both you can imagine. Also the pipe system is done pretty strange and when you open the bath water flows down with the force that can brake your finger. Also no TV and AC was broken, but stuff managed to fix it for us.
