About this house rental
Ideally located 27km north of Uzès and near the Cèze valley and a few kilometers south of the Gorges de l'Ardèche, this stone cottage with swimming pool called the MAZET, is open to rent all year round for allow you to enjoy this beautiful region in any season.
The MAZET is the small house by the pool, which can accommodate a maximum of 4/5 people, consisting of a living room / kitchen with a sofa bed, and an air-conditioned bedroom upstairs with a large double bed and a bed simple (possibility of adding a sofa bed if necessary). The sunny terrace overlooks the swimming pool. Pets are accepted at an additional cost (inquire before booking). The swimming pool is shared with the occupants of the second gîte that we offer (approximately 50 meters away).
The cottage is located in a preserved country setting, a place conducive to relaxation, near the start of walking tours, picturesque villages (Goudargues, Cornillon, Lussan, ...), natural swimming places in the Cèze valley and not far from Uzès, Avignon, Orange, Arles,…. It is easily possible to enjoy a day in the Camargue, on the first beaches of the Mediterranean, or to head to the Cévennes and the Ardèche.
You have free access to the municipal tennis court and you can go canoeing, horse riding, mountain biking, road biking, walking or hiking from the cottage. Many music festivals take place nearby in summer, as well as local festivals in the surrounding villages.
Goudargues, the “Venice of the Gard” (6 km), has some very good restaurants, all the shops you need for your stay and a market on Wednesdays.
