L'Oasi al Pigneto - Guest house

The location and value for money are what make this guesthouse a good choice. The neighbourhood is very gay friendly. The little garden at the front its lovely. The shops are very accessible. I really appreciated the container with cups, wine glasses, cutlery, plates etc, making a self-prepared light meal in the room very do-able.

The room is on the small side - just to be aware. I would recommend staying a night or two but for two people to stay there for a longer period could feel quite cramped.

Very very very pretty place, we enjoyed staying here so much and would definitely recommend it to everyone. It has easy access to central with the train few minutes walk away and it is direct to Colosseum. There are also amazing restaurants and shops at Pigneto which me and my partner enjoyed eating. Overall, this was the best accommodation we had and would definitely come here again.

We stayed in the garden room of what must have once been a beautiful Italian home. We enjoyed sitting in the garden. The shower was good.

Could have done with at least a kettle in the room for morning tea (have to go out and the in again through front door of main house to use the mini kitchen. Was hoping there would be shampoo and conditioner provided having only brought hand luggage. The room is quite cramped especially around the bed.

The value for money in Rome, kinda close to the train station is ok despite all the cons mentioned. It’s newly renovated so ok clean and comfortable. They provided coffee capsules for the morning. And the person checking us in was nice. There was a mosquito net in the door. Close to some coffee and snacks shops.

We got a room on the ground floor with only a garden door to the shared garden, no window only door. Not private, noisy as the walls are made of old covered doors (one side facing the reception area) so not sound proof. There was a trail of ants going through. We waited 20 min for the person to give us keys. And we needed some help printing a document the same evening to which they only gave us a list of print shops that were all closed until the next day. Many mosquitoes and only a shared garden right by the entrance not made it too comfortable to sit outside. Not ideal for more than 1 night.
