Our stay in orange beach was excellent. The cottage was very clean. The only drawback being it was a little bit of a walk to get to the beach but not too bad. We had a wonderful time!

We just got home from a great stay at Orange Beach. Even though the house doesn’t sit directly on the beach, the practical effect was the same; I’m certain that I’ve walked further from beachfront condos than from this house to the water. We loved the proximity to the pool as well. When we arrived, there were just a couple of small issues that were corrected immediately (we were missing a small amount of bedding) - communication was great. You do need to make sure you bring or order extra trash bags, toilet paper, etc., but the host is very upfront and even reminds you about this. We found the kitchen to be really well stocked for cooking - there was even a cheese grater! We did bring our own seasonings. The beds were super comfortable, and there were even box fans which we loved; make a note if you are sleeping eight people, the two bunk rooms have only passed through access to a restroom upstairs. This was not a big deal for the kids, but might matter to an adult. There’s a seafood grocery right across the street that will actually steam and boil all of the seafood they sell for you. Make sure to go into the store as prices are much better when you get there then when you order online. The location of this house is so convenient to everything else you might need as well. Overall, a great stay!

Our second time at the Cottages at Romar and we'll likely be back. Pool is great for young kids, easy beach access and we like Orange Beach! Only complaint is the 600 VRBO fee was not initially disclosed by rental company.
