About this villa rental
Welcoming outbuilding of an ancient recently-restored villa situated only 6,5 km from the beautiful Etruscan town of Cortona. This property is in quiet location on a large estate producing olive oil and offers a nice pool with amazing views over the surrounding hills and woods and the Trasimeno Lake in the distance. The interiors are nicely furnished in a rustic style.
The property owners live in the main villa.
This property is on the border between Tuscany and Umbria and it is ideally located to visit beautiful art cities such as Siena, Perugia, Assissi, Gubbio, Cortona, Arezzo, Montepulciano, Montalcino (renowned for the production of the Brunello wine), Pienza (all of them are within 80 km). Lake Trasimeno with sailing facilities is 32 km away.
Distances: Portole con a restaurant 1,6 km away, Cortona with general stores 6,5 km, Lake Trasimeno 32 km, Arezzo 38 km, Perugia 59 km away, Gubbio 72 km, Montalcino 76 km, Assisi 80 km away, Siena 85 km away, Radda in Chianti 94 km, San Gimignano 123 km, Florence (airport) 126 km away, Pisa (airport) 229 km, Roma (airport) 242 km away.

Wonderful place wonderful family. Absolutley to recommend. We spent (family with 4 year old boy) a very relaxing one week there with a lot of time in the very clean pool and enjoyed the incredible view.

From the moment we arrived, we felt at home and very relaxed in this stylish and well appointed property. Any queries we had prior to arriving were dealt with in a timely and professional manner. Upon arriving we were greeted by the owner and made to feel so welcome.

Das Haus ist schön und die Besitzer super! Das Schwimmbad ist ganz toll, perfekt um die Gegend zu bewundern und zu geniessen. Etwas deplatziert die Gartenzwerge...aber auch irgendwie wieder lustig.
Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft; die war überwältigend!

Wij hebben een waanzinnig mooie week gehad in dit schattige huisje. De ligging op 800 meter in de bergen met vrij uitzicht over het Toscaanse landschap is uniek! Cortona ligt op ongeveer 10 minuten rijden. Het zwembad is heerlijk en je krijgt volledige privacy van de (erg aardige) bewoners van het landgoed. Het huisje is schoon, alles is aanwezig. Wij komen hier zeker nog eens terug en kunnen dit iedereen aanraden![English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We had an awesome week in this lovely cottage. The location is at 800 meters in the mountains with views over the Tuscan landscape, unique! Cortona is about 10 minutes drive. The pool is lovely and you get complete privacy from the (very nice) residents of the estate. The cottage is clean, everything is there. We will definitely come back here and can recommend it to anyone!
