About this house rental
We live in the house when we do not receive reservations and this gives it an unfailing family warmth.
Furnished with some furniture of our grandparents, but with 'modern' beds and in addition a comfortable garden set, (deck chairs, armchairs, dining tables, indoors and outdoors).
Casa MARE CELESTE is an ancient stone farmhouse completely renovated and equipped with a wooden porch.
It rises 350 m. high on the beautiful sea of Cefalù and on a small beach (see attached photo) which is 2 km away with 10 minutes away and for this you need a car.
This beautiful seascape certainly induces you to take a swim in true relaxation around the sea stacks.
The house is located on a plateau of 1800 square meters, with SWIMMING POOL in the center of the garden, 360 ° view. Sea and mountain views.
In total tranquility, the villa is surrounded by olive trees, far from railways and highways (which can be seen on the map but with different heights) distributed on two levels with 3 bedrooms (2 double and 1 quadruple) (the quadruple consists of 2 single beds and 1 double bed) for a total of 8 places
It has 02 WC bathrooms with shower (one blue on the ground floor, the other green on the first floor)
A living room where there is a relaxation area with sofas and satellite TV, WiFi internet. A large typical brick kitchen with Santo Stefano ceramics and equipped with dishwasher.
On one side of the panoramic garden there is a rustic barbecue and on the back of the house a comfortable (outdoor) shower with hot water.
The peculiarity of the Mare Cielo house is its optimal geographical position to reach the nearby city of CEFALU '(3 km) with its majestic Arab-Norman cathedral described by UNESCO. HUMANITY HERITAGE, Monreale and its cathedral UNESCO HUMANITY HERITAGE, Aeolian Islands, BATTLE PLAN 1600 meters above sea level in the Madonne Natural Park (winter ski resort, with two-seater CHAIRLIFT chair open all year round, in summer mountain biking.
TINDARIS with its Greek Theater and BLACK MADONNA, Taormina, ETNA Volcano with the possibility of guided tours, Villa del Casale (ENNA), Agrigento Valley of the Temples,
Palermo: from the tourist port to the Royal Palace, passing through the historic Corso Vittorio Emanuele and the Cathedral.

Our stay at Francesco's house in Cefalù was a highlight of our travels. As a host, Francesco was phenomenal, striking the perfect balance between attentiveness and allowing us our privacy.
His house offered a quaint and cozy retreat, complete with the comforts of home yet a distinctly Sicilian charm.What made our experience unforgettable was the house's stunning view—unparalleled vistas of the sea that framed our mornings and evenings with natural splendor.
The house, a perfect embodiment of coziness and beauty, paired with Francesco's hospitality, made our visit to Cefalù truly magnificent. This is not just a place to stay; it's a venue to experience the best of Sicily.

We could not have had a nicer time. Francesco and his family were wonderful hosts. The accommodations were wonderful. The view was spectacular. We hope to come again in the future.

We had a perfect week in this awesome house. Francesco and Marianna welcomed us (4 adults and 2 Children) like family members. We were totally stunned by the house and this magical view over the mediterranian coast. On clear days you can even see the aeolean islands. The house itself has everything you need. Francesco provided food and beverages for the start, which was very helpful, because all the supermarkets were closed, when we arrived. We had wonderful bbqs in the evening and chilled days in the pool. Don´t be scared of the steap road which leads to the house. After going up and down 2 times, we got used to it and it was no problem. Francesco is one of the nicest hosts i´ve ever met. He was always helpful and took good care of us. We can totally recommend Francesco´s house to anybody, who plans a trip to sicily. Thank you very very much for everthing
