Beautiful view, facilities, clean

The view and quietness of the hotel nice and comfortable. It was a very spacious villa.
The property manager was an interesting character. When I asked for assistance with booking excursions beforehand he said he could’ve help then in the villa he advertised they help with booking. When I reached out to him he offered us welcome drinks to make up for it even though I told him it was no big deal. As soon as we walked in for the welcome drinks he called us the “problematic Americans”. I suppose that was his way of joking but we thought it be very rude and uncalled for. The rest of the staff was pleasant.

- great views
- can snorkel off rocks directly below BUT only if the water is calm
- soundproofed walls
- accomodations for our infant ( blender, high seat, cot)
- good mattress, good size beds
- equipped kitchen
- access to beach chairs and amenities at Chateau Elysium
- some review mentioned having to walk on the road to get to the beach - this isn't true. There is a nice sidewalk that starts at St Roch Church going all the way to the Berjaya/Chateau beach access road.
(this is about the second floor apartment)
- no fans in the main living area/kitchen. We knew about no A/Cs from reading the other reviews but others mentioned ceiling fans - maybe in other units but not on the second floor. Made the main space uncomfortable due to very high humidity (opening windows doesn't help).
- poor water pressure in the shower - even after the maintenance call it went from trickling to just barely enough.
- lots of pillows on the beds but none were comfortable for sleep
- ants were difficult to keep away from the kitchen - couldn't leave anything on the counter for longer than 10 mins. Didn't want to use spray since we had our infant with us.

Apartment was excellent - kitchen was well equipped- great sea view with a cool breeze. Good quality white goods with a washing machine which was great. It was clean and very comfortable. There are a few shops close by. Everyone we met was really nice and friendly.
The property was perfect for us - some people may think it was a bit far out - this is a matter of personal opinion you can use the bus to get around and you can buy a bus card in the local shop.
