The biggest plus to this condo is the large view of the bay with the sunrise, bird and dolphin traffic, the flying fish and being able to view of misc nautical vessels all day. Another benefit is that someone took advantage of the quarantine to do some nice upgrades in the kitchen and bathrooms. The kitchen is well supplied but there is a LOT of pre-used items that need to be thrown out. The AC worked like a champ. A supply of all the beach towels you will ever need. There is a king size bed that sleeps great. The other bedroom has a full size bed and a trundle (but it’s hard to access the trundle bc of floor space). The main draw back is that some of the furniture is in serious need of an upgrade. The property is well kept and very clean. The pool is well kept and big enough to share with others.

I will definitely be back to Runaway Bay. The property was older but well-kept and has the largest pool on the island. The location was awesome, views from the unit of Anna Maria sound and right across the street from the beach access. Very close to some other great beaches too. Close to longboat key, Sarasota, and Bradenton shopping and restaurants.
The only complaints about the unit was that not one of the three smoke detectors were in working order. The bathroom and balcony tile floors we're filthy. That should be addressed, but would definitely go back!
