Arret pas trop bien materialisé, quant aux horaires; on est en vacances il suffit d'attendre. Les parcours qui sillonnent l'ile sont spectaculaires mais il faut bien s'accrocher. Amazing garden with a wonderful sense of privacy. The hosts are very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. A truly relaxing place to stay!

The place could use some renovation, although everything was clean and well maintained. The location may not suit everyone, as it is quite high up on a hill. However, the bus stop is just around the corner, and it takes about 7 minutes by bus to Poseidon Gardens. The beautiful Cava dell’Isola beach is around 10 minutes away, but be prepared for a fairly steep walk down and back up. There are no grocery stores nearby, which can be a little inconvenient, although the hosts are very helpful and are happy to bring you anything you need.

I proprietari persone molto carine, gentili e disponibili. Il nostro appartamento era piano terra con una terrazza fuori. I spazi erano perfetti, puliti. In casa non mancava nulla per prepararsi dei pranzi e cene veloci. La fermata del bus a 3 Min a piedi.

La casa è in una salita un po' faticosa. Se si ha la macchina, la cosa non pesa, altrimenti un' po' si per i meno sportivi.

The apartment was clean but very small for 4 people, fine for only 2. The gardens which the apartment is set in are also nice and you get a good view of the sunset from the sunbathing area. The buses do stop along the main road that the apartments are near, which is handy - I'd recommend getting the bus to San Angelo (combine with trip up Mount Epomeo as the bus goes to San Angelo first) and Porto - and going to the Castle.

This is located off a very busy main road which isn't pleasant to walk down - part of it there is no pavement. Not great with 2 young children. It is a 20 minute walk to Forio (parts of which aren't very nice). On our last day though we discovered a back route to get to Forio which was a lot more pleasant - also avoiding the barking dogs that were behind one of the gates on the main road, which scared my children immensely. The beach at Forio is okay but very busy at weekends. The Ravino gardens are nice (but expensive for what you get). The main gardens at Mortella are a bus ride away.
