The simple breakfast that was included was actually excellent. It was juice, toast, cereal etc but all was of a high quality. We arrived after 8pm (unplanned) but were still welcomed by friendly staff. The room was very clean and comfortable (fantastic bath) and it was so much more than we expected after an exhausting day.
Everything was great.

Beautiful historical building. Very clean and well maintained. Spacious, lux room with high ceilings, large windows and balcony overlooking the main street. Large bathroom with double shower and spa bath. Very comfortable bed. All added up to a relaxing stay.
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to a private function but our host gave us some good recommendations to eat nearby. Also don't know what happened to our breakfast. Put in our order when we checked in, for delivery to our room, but it must have gone astray. We only requested some juice and toast so not a big deal; we didn't let it ruin the overall experience.

We stayed 2 night in a room that was the largest of those available. It was very clean, well appointed and a comfortable bed. We also enjoyed our meal in the restaurant. Staff were lovely and very helpfull.

Location, breakfast and dinner was really good.
Slight downside to room 4 is that all of the cooking smell comes up into that room and all of my clothes smelt like a deep fryer and had to be cleaned when I arrived home. Have stayed before down in room 17 I think it is at the end of the hall near back door and that was amazing. Would request not to have room 4 next time.
