Wake Up to Sea Views, a Short Walk from the Beach

Communication with the host was excellent and we received a warm welcome. The apartment is a short walk from a nice beach. We really enjoyed using one of the two pools. Good transport links (about a 20 min taxi drive from the airport), it has access to the tram and buses which can take you into the centre of Alicante. The space was perfect for 4 adults and one child; there were 3 separate bedrooms which was great as it meant we could put our son to bed and he wouldn’t be disturbed in the evening. Washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher in the apartment if you wanted to use them. Plenty of facilities for making your own food. Nice big table on the balcony that we used to eat our meals with a view of the sea and sunrise in the morning. All the people in the building seemed nice and friendly and because there are a lot of residential apartments, we weren’t disturbed with lots of noise. You need keys to access different parts of the building (such as swimming pool) so it felt secure. Overall, we had a lovely holiday.

The apartment has fans rather than air conditioning so just be aware of this if you struggle with the heat.

Die Lage der Wohnung empfanden wir als sehr gut, das Meer, Metro und Bus waren sehr schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die beiden Pools in der Anlage waren sauber und gut zu erreichen. Aber am besten war der Gastgeber, sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Selten so einen Hilfsbereiten und netten Gastgeber gehabt, er alleine verdient 12 von 10 Sternen. Sehr schöne Aussicht vom recht großen Balkon.

Die Wohnung hatte keine Klimaanlage, das hatte ich wohl irgendwie beim Buchen übersehen, das war mein Fehler. Die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber immer noch gut.

Juan Carlos is not only a lovely host, but this gentleman radiates kindness in a way that I will always remember. He was in contact with us while we made our way to Alicante, made sure he was there to hand us the keys, even helped us find a place to park our car when he heard that we were driving, out of the kindness of his own heart. He made us feel so welcome, and the apartment was clean, spacious, super close to and with a great view of the beach. We had such a lovely, relaxing stay in Alicante. And Juan Carlos is one of those people that you meet and remember forever because of how special and kind they are. Highly recommend this place.
