Trendy Studio Flat in Kemptown Village

Room was meticulous and finished to high spec.

Good location and well-equipped (but see below). The apartment was clean when I arrived and had reliable wifi, chairs and a table, washing machine, microwave etc.

The listing said the apartment had a TV but there was no sign of one when I arrived. I queried this with the agency that manages the property. They acknowledged that the hosts had removed the TV after I'd booked and they would contact them regarding some offer of compensation. Of course that was the last I heard about it. If the hosts live upstairs (the apartment is in the basement) their way of communicating with guests seems to be to get their children to stamp on the floorboards at various times to keep the guest(s) below on their toes. Also the bed is a sofa bed and not at all comfortable.

Well look after mini apartment. Enough space for 3 people. Comfy beds. Close to the beach.

Single old window and impossible to close them properly so you can hear everything from the street. If you thinking about rest or quick nap in between your busy day of exploring the city you can forget it! The neighbours from upstairs will make that much noise so that would make it impossible.

Even though the parking was advertised as free, it was not onsite and only free over night during certain times. (so slightly misleading description) Parking was also hard to find.
