Double booking with poor support/accountability

We made a last-minute booking, and while on our way to the hotel, we received a message saying there had been a mistake and the room was double-booked. Instead of taking responsibility and offering a solution right away, they initially asked us to cancel the reservation. After some insistence on our part, they eventually started looking for an alternative of equivalent value. However, they first suggested options without breakfast, even though our original booking included it. They even proposed that we return to their property in the morning for breakfast — despite the fact that the alternative hotel was quite far away. Overall, I found their handling of the situation very disappointing: they did not take proper ownership of their mistake and were not cooperative or customer-focused in their approach.

Lovely stay

Love the low capacity and that the place is locally-owned. It's a quiet and tranquil neighbourhood to stay in, with plenty of food choices around the hotel. The place is also very well maintained, clean and definitely safe for a solo traveller. Will definitely return to try out some surfing!

lovely calming friendly stay

Loved the entrance and inviting, calming and relaxed atmosphere when we walked into the space. The staff was immediately super friendly and helpful and explained the area to us. the room was beautiful and spacious, i absolutely loved the bathroom and the way the rooms are build around the garden creates a really nice communal feeling. would have loved to stay longer if it wasnt for my flight home! but definitely excited to be back 🥰

Wonderful!

Great energy and people, we felt part of a small community, the accommodation is super comfortable, peaceful and clean, while at the same time designish in an organic way. We enjoyed chilling by the pool, chatting with international guests, eating delicious breakfast and community dinner. The owners and staff make you feel at home. Thanks guys! Get better Pancake! :)

the best camp for surfing, the concentration of coziness and comfort, you don’t want to leave this place

seems to be the best place in thanah lot. kedungu. from the door you realize that you are at home, so cozy and tasteful! the room is chic, a whole bungalow for you, a stylish and large room! beautiful bathroom, swimming pool and that's not all! an incredibly friendly team of employees, cheerful and helpful, I rented a wonderful bike and it was enough for me to explore the area, get to the beach. I took surf lessons from Rudy and Wayang - it was my first time, I got it right on the first lesson, now I'm in love with surfing! the coaches are so caring, and what delicious breakfasts are prepared here and the coffee is always delicious and free. Upon arrival, I booked a massage. it was made by Irna. it was the most useful and wellness massage in my life. thank you to the kind owners of the house and all the staff for these wonderful 3 days. I'll be back again!

Fantastic!

We loved staying at Seaside Tribe :) What we appreciated the most: - The people. Balinese people are very friendly and, beside this, the staff of Seaside Tribe are also a great team! Irene (from Switzerland) and her husband Adi (a real Balinese) are the kind owners. All the staff are their friends and relatives so we did surfing lessons and a BBQ on the beach with Rudy (brother of Adi), got a massage from Erna and tasted delicious food cooked by Mary and Risky. They also helped us a lot with finding taxi, laundry service, renting a scooter, borrowing bikes... - The calm of the place. It's located in the countryside, with the scooter 5 minutes to the sea and 15 minutes to the closest big city (Canggu) and 20 minutes to Tanah Lot (a big and important temple of Bali). So you will enjoy the real inhabitants life, avoiding the chaos and smog of the south of Bali. - It is a paradise. Irene and Adi planned and build a fantastic structure. Small and sweet, everything is made with love, the garden, the rooms and the dining hall. - The food. The menu is made out of few dishes, but they are delicious. They also use fresh spinach, flowers and other from their own garden. We can totally recommend Seaside Tribe.

We loved it.

We had such a good time at Seaside Tribe! Its like paradise with those beautiful cottages, the lovely garden and the pool. Everything is great designed and absolutly clean. Also people at Seaside are super kind. The location is away from busy Canggu but by scooter in just half an hour reachable. We would defintely come back!

Exceptional

Best place we stayed at. Very beautiful place with great vibes, where you can either have your intimacy thanks to a big room with a nice little terrace or chill out in the common space next to the pool and meet up with others. Great location, in an authentic village surrounded by rice fields and 2 min away from Kedungu beach by scooter. The place is perfect if you want to enjoy real Balinese experience and stayed in a place that is not to touristic yet. But no worries you still 15 min away in scooter from Canggu where there is lot of different restaurants and shopping. The place is amazing for surfing, whatever your level, from complete beginner to confirmed surfer. The surf spot is next door (2 min away by scooter) not to crowded with great vibes in the water. You can rent a board directly at the beach or take surf lessons with Seaside Tribe(which I recommend). The instructors are great, putting safety first and make you feel progress each time thanks to video analysis and great advice in the water.

Nice cosy pool, friendly pets in the property, owners were welcoming. Place was stylish and compact.

My friend and I were itchy from the bedsheets. Occasionally sawdust dropped from the ceiling possibly due to termites.

Very good

Loved the room's simple decor and the open air bathroom with a good hot shower. The bed was so comfy and the place really was quiet except the one time when the neighbourhood dogs was barking all night. Kedungu Beach was 20 minutes walk if you're fast but the mountain and rice field views on the way were lovely especially early in the morning.

This is a bit weird but the toilet didn't have jet spray, first time I saw this in an Indonesian hotel.

Wohlfühlen leicht gemacht!

Die Anlage ist wirklich sehr schön und auch die Einrichtung des Zimmers hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Hier hat jemand wirklich mitgedacht. Die Mitarbeiter sind super nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch das Essen war super. Wir können das Hotel wirklich von Herzen weiterempfehlen.
