Lovely friendly owners, substantial breakfast cooked to order, easy parking, super comfy beds, biscuits with tea tray, very clean rooms and guest area.
Sloping ceiling in bathroom could be a challenge to tall guests.

Location was perfect. Was not crowded and offered a quiet night away which is just as intended. There was a ‘quirkiness’ in the decor, allbeit a little tired in places, but loved the 4 poster bed.
The hotel had a quaintness but lacked atmosphere. Staff weren’t overly attentive but also felt like we were an inconvenience when we arrived — the lounge/bar area appeared to be set up as the owners office so we ended up up buying our own drink in the nearby petrol station and staying in our room.

Very sall window 8 to 9 for breakfast,,which we missed, great shame.
