Cadwgan House

First visit, owners very welcoming, ideal situation, all clean, breakfast one of the best I have been offered. Will be back if need to stay in the area again.

The room had everything you need including tea and coffee making facilities. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space for clothes if you wanted to unpack. There was a good choice at breakfast and it was well cooked. The beach was about 20 minute walk away (past caravan park)

The hotel is the first house (less than 100m) after a train level crossing at a station, you have to get out of your car and manually open both gates, drive through and then close them behind you (Penalty for not closing £1,000). Regarding my room, the only criticism I would have was with regard to the TV, it was quite small and the signal dropped, so one minute you were watching a programme and the next minute you were watching something completely different as the channel you were watching had no signal. There was an antenna on the window cill which you could move but that did nothing. My only other issue was the strict timing of the breakfast which was between 8am to 9am even on the weekends. I would have preferred it, if it was say 10am on the weekend. The only evening food available within easy walking distance was on a local caravan park about 15 minutes walk away. There was a fish & chip shop and a pub which served food, the quality of the food was good.
