About this apartment rental
This lovely, peaceful flat sleeps 2 adults in great comfort with the option of a small second bedroom/dressing room with a full single 3ft bed . I prefer to let to adults only and do no accept a third person . Children or teenagers are not accepted as guests .This is a 1st floor apartment with no lift., but has a lovely easy - rise staircase .
There is a small second bedroom with a full size single bed for guests who wish to sleep apart .
There are lots of fitted wardrobe cupboards and plentiful storage .
In the main bedroom there is a full King sized brass bed frame by the famous Kings Road company "And So To Bed" which is loved by all our guests (which has top quality bedding all John Lewis and a pocket sprung Savoir medium mattress and plentiful fitted wardrobes . The flat faces south and south west and has the sunshine pouring in all day long through large airy windows with secondary glazing for complete silence from all street noise. All the windows face south and south west and the flat has amazing views right across Chelsea Green . The living room is very light and sunny all day long until the evening and leads directly into a brand new fitted kitchen with all appliances including dishwasher, fridge/freezer/wine cooler fridge / microwave oven/ full electric oven/ gas hob etc . Fabulous kitchen with windows looking out into Elystan Street and the restaurants , shops , pizzeria and wine bar that surround Chelsea Green .
. The bathroom has a full tub with modern double shower with average London water pressure . I provide 4 bath towels per guest with spare towels available, plus all the bedding which is freshly laundered including the duvets for each new guest. The kitchen is sunny and light with dishwasher, washer dryer, full oven, gas hob, microwave, wine refrigerator ,Nespresso machine with pods supplied, large Dualit toaster, Kenwood blender mixer, glassware, china, plentiful pots and pans, kitchen utensils.
The living room with large windows is South facing with pretty views of Chelsea Green and has a large TV with Freeview, Netflix and You Tube, free wi-fi and the dining table seats 4 in comfort .
I am a part time Chelsea resident of more than forty years and I have lived and worked here all my life.
I love this beautiful, highly desired and very stylish neighbourhood, which is why property prices are the highest in London and why famous and well known personalities choose to have homes here. This lovely flat is one of four in one of Chelsea's most favourite and easily recognisable listed buildings as it has the original water tower still in place on the main roof . The building is listed and protected from development or alterations and is a famous Chelsea landmark . Wild Corner Wine Bar and it's sister restaurant Wild Tavern are located on the street beneath the flat and these are both a favourite celebrity haunt where you are likely to see Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise or Pierce Brosnam enjoying a quiet intimate drink in the tine wine bar or a meal with friends at the Tavern .
This is a famous celebrity location and has also featured in several films and TV programs .
The location is generally very peaceful and safe and above all it is charming and pretty, dotted with restaurants, shops, pharmacies, dry cleaners, laundry, hair salons, beauty salons, manicure parlours, wine bars and gorgeous Georgian houses and cottages which make Chelsea so famous. You can "star spot" everywhere.
Sloane Square tube is a five minute walk - Harrods, the museums, the river, Sloane Street, Knightsbridge - all just a few minutes walk away. Buses galore, frequent black cabs on every corner, two main tube stations (Sloane Square and South Kensington) and a beautiful public swimming pool (indoor !!) The Chelsea Physic Gardens (Botanical) and the river are a 5 minute walk away. The Royal Court Theatre, the Curzon Cinema , The Ivy restaurant all on your doorstep ! The Fulham Road with cinema, art galleries, antique shops and wonderful restaurants is two minutes walk and very close by are the famous Royal Marsden and Brompton Hospitals. Bicycle hire is right outside your door.
The Kings Road is two minutes walk and across the street is Marks and Spencer alongside every famous retail name you could desire with the wonderful Peter Jones, Tiffany, Cartier, Smythson all on your doorstep! This location is a shopper's paradise.
We are nowhere near the Chelsea football stadium - that is in Fulham ! Match days are a nightmare and I have a list available of every match at Stamford Bridge that may affect traffic in Chelsea .

We've been to London many times, and this is the best location we've stayed at. Multiple good restaurants, and a great bakery, within easy walking distance.

Our stay was wonderful. The apartment is beautiful and “fully loaded.” We stayed in another apartment owned by the same owner when we were in London six years ago. When we saw that she had an apartment available for this trip, we jumped at the chance. It was so great to be in the same neighborhood that we had fallen in love with. The owner and the property manager were very responsive to our questions and needs. It was a perfect week.

Very pleasant apartment looking over the Green. Five minute walk to Sloan Square. Very clean and comfortable. Jane is a great host - lots of goodies left for us to enjoy. There is a small wine bar below, but there is no noise after 10 pm - and we slept very well the seven nights we were there. Highly recommended.

We've stayed at many VRBO properties, but this one is the best. The flat is perfect for a couple. The location is incredible - lots of shops and fantastic restaurants within easy walking distance, and the South Kensington and Sloane Square Tube stations are within a 10-minute walk. The apartment itself is cozy and functional. Our property manager (Jane) communicated check in and check out details very clearly and when we arrived there was a little care package waiting for us including a bottle of wine, milk and butter in the refrigerator, a bag of crisps, etc. The apartment is very tastefully decorated and has everything you could need to make your stay enjoyable. I would give it ten stars if that was possible.
