Soak up the wonderful lake views in this central lake townhouse.
Occupying a picturesque lake view setting amongst the natural beauty and timeless appeal of Acquaseria, this modernised townhouse offers a wonderful setting for those looking to enjoy an ambient Lake Como stay.
This recently renovated townhouse has accommodation set over four floors. All rooms are light and airy with white walls, rustic terracotta flooring and comfortable modern furnishing. Also with full central heating and an open fireplace, the close proximity to the Italian Alpine ski resort of Madesimo makes this the perfect property for wintertime as well as summertime stays. The property also has the benefit of WIFI which guests can use (EU35 per week)
The ground floor comprises of laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing board.
On the first floor is a spacious living room with a comfortable sofa bed (double). French doors lead directly onto a covered lake view balcony ideal for enjoying meals outside or just relaxing. A dining area with table & chairs for six and an open plan modern kitchen featuring high gloss & matt cabinets and benefiting from all the must have appliances for stress free holiday cooking. Guests will find a cooker hob, oven, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and dishwasher.
On the second floor there is a spacious double bedroom with lake views to the front and mountain views to the back, offering the perfect ambience for savouring a romantic lie-in. There is also a second bedroom with lake views fitted with bunk beds.
The versatile layout goes on to comprise a contemporary bathroom with WC, washbasin and shower. There is a second WC and washbasin on the ground floor.
An extra couple of guests staying will be able to take in lake view bliss from the third floor loft style room. Furnished with 2 sofas which convert to an extremely comfortable double bed there is also a TV which allows the room to be used as a second sitting room if required. The French doors lead out onto the roof terrace which offers breathtaking views of Lake Como, the mountains and San Siro.
The property also has a small front garden and a large garden to the side of the house, ideal for sitting and soaking up the sun and having a BBQ.
Just a two minute walk from the house you can experience the delights of charming Acquaseria. With restaurants, patisserie, convenience store, fruit and vegetable shop, butchers and a wine shop, everything you need is provided for. The public beach is 5 minutes\' walk from the house along a path that passes underneath the road, so ideal if you have children.
Acquaseria offers easy access by car/bus to the famous lake resort of Menaggio (just a 6 minute drive or 10 minute bus ride away), enabling guests to easily embrace the popular visitor attractions and leisure pursuits of beautiful Lake Como.

The location was as expected. The property has one shower.
After checking in we messaged the manager that there was no wifi. Unfortunately we ended up with with no wifi for three days.
The oven was also broken. A technician was called but couldn't fix it. We were not offering any compensation for these inconveniences. You may consider renting somewhere else.

Wir haben unseren Urlaub an dem schönen Comer See sehr genossen. Das Haus war gut ausgestattet. Das einzige Negative war, dass das Geschirr teilweise dreckig war. Der Grund ist anscheinend der nicht richtig funktionierende Geschirrspüler. Somit mussten wir selbst abwaschen. Allerdings hat der Ausblick alles wieder gut gemacht. Insgesamt war der Urlaub super.

nettes altes historisches Bauernhaus modernisiert. Schöne Lage 2 Min vom See und großer Badestelle mit Park. Für Kinder ab Schulalter gut geeignet. Kein Parkplatz am Haus, man muß das Gepäck hochtragen. Sind aber nur 2 Min zu gehen.

Das Objekt hat leider die Putzfee schon lange nicht gesehen. Davon zeugt ein toter Skorpion in der Bettwäsche und Dreck in vielen Ecken.
Parkplätze ist eine Katastrophe, wenn man Pech hat, sucht man irgendwo im Dorf nach Parkplätzen. Das Haus liegt nicht weit vom Strand was sehr positiv ist und ist einfach zu erreichen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es im Dorf nicht wirklich, nur ein Obst und Gemüsehändler. Sonst ist in der Gegend nichts los, muss man also in die nächstgrößere Stadt fahren. Zwei Restaurants sind vorhanden, die aber zum Teil reserviert werden müssen wenn man einen Tisch haben möchte. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war jedoch immer gut.
Trotzdem hat mich das Objekt nicht überzeugt, daher nur 3 Sterne. Für das Geld gibt es schönere Plätze in Europa.
