Overall very nice, but communication with property manager was by phone only, as i did not have whats app. and we could not text each other for some reason. Very well appointed with good air conditioning, kitchenware, great view.

Owner was great. He picked us from the train station ant took us to the house and explained a few things to us. The next morning he took us to the airport to get a rental car. We love the place and it’s only our first day here

The property is located at a quiet smaller hillside town along Lake Como with 2 daily ferries. We were impressed by the cleanness, how roomy the house was, and the unbeatable view of the lake with the mountain backdrop from the balconies. The house had everything needed for our short stay. The local grocery store is a 3-min drive down the mountain and the nearby restaurant served fresh Italian pasta and pizza. The manager uses WhatsApp to communicate and is very responsible once connected. The owner keeps a wine closet with a good selection and fair pricing. If you like the hustle bustle of the cities, then you might try Bellagio or Tremezzie. For us this was the perfect stay where we thoroughly enjoyed the peacefulness and soaked in the view. We would definitely love to return.

Pianello is a small town with a couple of good restaurants and a wonderful bar. A lake ferry stop there as well for exploring other towns in Lake Como. The view for the balcony is fantastic. The kitchen is well required and the beds are comfortable. Communication with Paola was excellent. I highly recommend this place.

A beautiful house in a quiet hamlet.

My wife and I, and another couple from America just finished a wonderful 5 days here. The high points are the million dollar views from the first floor and the master bedroom, the spotless condition of the house, the very complete kitchen with everything you need, and the quiet little historic hamlet of Maggianna where it is located. On the downside, the second large bedroom is in the attic (3rd floor) with only 2 very small windows, and it gets very hot in the summer. This room is the only one with an air conditioner, but it is a portable internal unit that is very loud…probably too loud for most people to sleep with on. And the location, while having an amazing view of the lake, is a 15-20 minute walk up a quite steep stone walkway from the lakefront town of Calozzo, where there is a store, bakery and a couple of restaurants. For some people this might require driving down the winding road to town. Also be aware that the passenger ferry service only stops here a couple times a day, so a car is required if you want to visit other parts of the lake Overall, we had a very positive experience here, and Paola the host is very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay in this beautiful house again if we return to this area.

We had a great stay at Milena's place. We booked it at the very last minute, but the host (Paola) immediately reached out to us and made sure everything was in order when we arrived. The house is nicely located in a calm, non-touristic part of the village, it's spacious and well-equipped, and the view on the lake was absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay here again in the future.

We have had a great time on holiday at Lake Como, made all the more enjoyable by staying in such a great property in a stunning location! The house is spacious a light and easily accommodated our family of 5. Paola, the local contact person, was wonderful! She is very kind and helpful. If there's one thing that we were a little bit disappointed about it's that the property listing says there is air conditioning, which we assumed meant units in every room. This was our first sty in Italy so we didn't know that this would be unusual for Italy. However, there is a great air conditioning unit on the top floor, and a plug in unit was available in the main bedroom. we asked for an additional fan for the other bedroom which Paola soon delivered. We thoroughly recommend staying here!

Wow. The view from the balcony is really as they show on the photos. Absolutely breathtaking view to the lake and the mountains beyond. Really, cannot find anything bad to say. Rooms are large and clean. Beds are comfortable. Showers are very modern with hot water for everyone. Kitchen is modern and well equipped. Paola responded quickly to all the questions and was very helpful. As description shows, the house is above the village on the slope. So you will most likely need a car to get around. Although it is possible to walk down the stairs to the village in some 5 mins as well. Would definitely recommend this place.

We arrived at a time arranged by us, earlier than usual and Paulo was very accommodating. She explained everything to us quickly. She was available if we needed advice by phone as the family were away.We enjoyed great outings . We had two keys of the front door (no back door or exit),and on one particular morning we could not get out of the house ,the key just wouldn't turn. We tried to contact both the contact person and owner and failed and eventually after some time the owner did ring us. I sent a text saying I had an emergency. The lower windows had bars on them and which meant there was no escape from the house and in the event of a fire or other emergency it would be a disaster. This needs to be addressed , another exit is necessary.There is a need for a book containing emergency phone numbers like doctor , Hospital , taxi , Church Service etc and also notes on equipment in the house . The house was well equipped with great cooking facilities and lots of ware and containers for picnic. A suggestion would be to bring iron board and iron down stairs. With the roughness of the pathway to the house an extra light at night up further from the house would help . One has to experience this especially for older people. The overall experience was very positive as it is a quiet area with great beauty. The owners were very helpful as were their family after our dilemma. As the weather got cold during our time there was a great stove in the house and we had lots of wood to burn . All of this added to our experience.I would return here if these items were attended to as all my comments are constructive and I do realise all the effort this family is gone to.Safety is paramount to me and door locks can get stuck like ours did, but when its in a remote area it is all the more stressful or if it was the morning we were going home at 5am for an early flight. Anything I have said here I have said to the owner. Paola our contact person was excellent and listened too to us and rang and checked in with us. We enjoyed a wonderful time in Pianello De Lario area and it is a very good place to locate in.Our whole experience was positive and I wish Mauro and Milena every blessing and their family as they came to see us on the last night of our stay and they want the best for their guests.Also when Paulo came to check before we left she too was very helpful and we will return soon to Italy . All my party have lots of good memories of this lovely property.

My family, friends and I loved staying here. The apartment was as described, with a beautiful view of Lake Como. The accommodations were spacious and clean. Parking was plentiful and it also was easy to walk to town and the small beach. The property manager was extremely responsive and helpful, especially when the electricity went out following a major thunderstorm. We would definitely stay here again.

Altogether this was one of the greatest flats/houses I ever rented for vacation. You can feel and see everwhere, that the house was not builded to be rented...but to live inside...it was renewed with much love to details...my personal favorite is the main bath. But it was not built for 8 persons to live in... The sleeping situation for the persons is very different. 2 persons in main sleeping room sleep like kings in a very large sleepig room with the greatest view on the lake, an own small balcony and a home trainer. On the same floor there is a tiny little sleepingroom with one bed and view to the close neighbor house. The other 5 beds are under the roof. The 3 single beds are small. The hight is limited. Not much space for clothes. It's warm, although there is an air condition, because it can't be used at nights, because it' too loud. Maybe a split air condition would help. Another problem is, that sleeping people in that sleeping room are disturbed, if others go to bed later. Not so much accustically, because there is fibre glas in the gaps between the steps, but optically by the light which has to be switched on to reach the 1st floor...For the first part of the stairs there is already a solution to avoid too much light, but not for the last part, where it would be more important...taking some flashlight with you might help. Dark color on the fibre glas may also help. The double amount of forks an knifes would be good. There is no banister to help old or drunken guests to reach the first floor. Several motor cycle drivers and 2 crazy dogs disturbed the peace from time to time, although they were far away...the area of the houses is very quite and the view on the lake is fantastic.

Wir waren zu viert eine Woche Anfang Juni 2022 zu Gast in diesem schönen Haus. Die vorherige Kommunikation mit Paola, unser Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort, zur Übermittlung aller Informationen zur Reise insgesamt sowie zur Anreise incl. einer exakten Weg Beschreibung war hervorragend. Obwohl wir erst spät am Abend ankamen war sie da und hatte bereits für uns das Abendessen eingekauft. Selbst Getränke, Kaffee, Gewürze und vieles mehr war vorhanden, vielen Dank noch einmal dafür. Das Haus war picobello sauber, alle Betten waren frisch bezogen und wir wurden toll in das Haus eingewiesen. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Das wirklich große Haus ist modern und liebevoll eingerichtet, alles was man im Urlaub so braucht (Fön, Waschmaschine, selbst Regenschirme usw.), war vorhanden. (Wer im Urlaub nicht auf sein fernsehen verzichten kann wird sich freuen, der Fernseher empfängt auch alle deutschen Sender). Es gibt eine große Terrasse mit einem wundervollen Ausblick auf den Comer See, die nicht nur zum täglichen Frühstück in der Morgensonne einlädt. Besser kann man einen Urlaubstag nicht beginnen. Die Küche ist mit neuen Geräten ausgestattet und komplett eingerichtet. Alle elektrischen und elektronischen Geräte im Haus funktionierten einwandfrei. In der Umgebung gibt es viele Möglichkeiten, seinen Tag angenehm zu verbringen. In Dongo, dem Nachbarort gibt es einen Vespa- und einen Bootsverleih. Motorboote (40PS) stehen auch ohne Führerschein zur Verfügung, Jetski und Segelboote kann man dort ebenfalls günstig ausleihen. (Bitte beachten: Anfang Juni ist keine Saison, da sind die Preise deutlich moderater). Auch E-bikes kann man sich in Dongo ausleihen. Insgesamt möchte ich Paola, dem Haus, der Gegend und dem Wetter eine glatte und wohlverdiente " 1+ " geben. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und behalten diesen Urlaub in guter Erinnerung. Das war ein herrlicher Kurzurlaub! Die Wohnung ist toll gelegen und bietet einen unglaublichen Blick über den See! Viel Platz, guter Schnitt und hervorragend ausgestattet. Io e mio marito in occasione del nostro 50esimo anniversario ci siamo regalati qualche giorno sul lago, la casa gode di una vista stupenda, in un luogo tranquillo. E' molto bene accessoriata e l'abbiamo trovata in condizioni di igiene e pulizia a dir poco perfette ! Ottima anche la comunicazione con i proprietari e soprattutto con Paola, una gentilissima e disponibile ragazza che si è occupata del check in e di illustrarci sia la casa , sia come spendere il nostro tempo nei luoghi circostanti. Ritorneremo sicuramente !!

Die Lage des Ferienhauses am Hang der kleinen Stadt Pianello del Lario ist atemberabend. Die Einrichtung des Wohnbereiches ist sehr geschmackvoll . Die moderne Küche ist funktionell und sehr hochwertig ausgestattet. Die beiden Badezimmer bieten allen Komfort. Wir haben uns in diesem Ferienhaus sehr wohlgefühlt.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub! Wir waren vom ersten Augenblick an verliebt in das Haus und den Blick auf den See. Die Lage ist perfekt, wenn man es etwas ruhiger möchte. Durch den Fußweg ist man aber auch in wenigen Minuten unten im Ort und am See. Die Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin Milena und mit Paola vor Ort hätte nicht besser sein können! Wir hatten mit unserem 1,5 Jahre alten Sohn eine tolle Zeit und haben sowohl den Urlaub als solchen, als auch die Ferienwohnung sehr genossen. Insbesondere die Terrasse mit der wunderschönen Aussicht war ideal, da wir nicht Essen gegangen sind und dementsprechend die Abende dort genießen konnten. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern und der Agentur verlief sehr freundlich, stets prompt und unkompliziert. Bezüglich der Lage war für uns die Untertunnelung der Uferstraße im Bereich um Pianello del Lario sehr erfreulich, die Lage der Wohnung ca. 500 m/ 100 Höhenmeter über dem Dorfkern/See war ja bekannt und für uns nicht von Nachteil. Bezüglich der Parkmöglichkeiten findet sich in einer anderen Bewertung eine falsche Angabe, es führt zwar ein Fußweg ins Dorf, jedoch befinden sich die Parkplätze auf Höhe der Wohnung ca. 100-150 m entfernt, d.h., die Parkmöglichkeiten sind günstig, gleichzeitig ist die ruhige Lage der Wohnung (keine Autostraße am Haus vorbei) sehr günstig. Zusammenfassend ist die Wohnung aus unserer Sicht absolut empfehlenswert!

Wirklich wunderschönes, bestens ausgestattetes und tip top gepflegtes Ferienhaus in einem ruhigen Weiler etwas oberhalb des Comer Sees, man hat immer neue See- und Berg-Panoramaeindrücke von der fantastischen großen Terrasse/vom Balkon aus. Man parkt am Ende der Straße (einfach vom See aus im Ort Pianello del Lario den Schildern "Maggiana" nachfahren) und geht dann ein paar Minuten durch die Gässchen/Treppchen zum Haus, das am unteren Rand des Teilorts "Maggiana" liegt und komplett freien Blick in die Landschaft bietet. Hervorragend betreut durch Paola, die uns bei der Ankunft am Parkplatz abgeholt hat; und die lieben Gastgeber Milena und Mauro haben wir am Schluss des Aufenthalts auch kurz getroffen. Die Doppelbetten sind toll, die Einzelbetten eher schmal, aber in Ordnung, eine Matratze eines Einzelbettes war ein bisschen wacklig (für ein Kind absolut okay, für einen Erwachsenen bisschen instabil). Wir waren zu fünft, sind vor allem gewandert oberhalb des Seeufers und in der Bergregion, wir hatten mehr als genug Platz, haben viel miteinander gekocht und den Aufenthalt total genossen - es war super dort!!

la maison est dans un petit hameau au dessus du village, très au calme. Très confortable, la cuisine est bien aménagée avec tout le matériel nécessaire pour cuisiner. Les chambres ont des lits confortables et les salles de bain sont bien aménagées. Le vrai plus de la maison est la terrasse sur le lac où l'on profite d'une très belle vue sur le lac et les montagnes avoisinantes. Très gentil accueil, les propriétaires nous ont offert des légumes de leur jardin, nous nous sommes régalés!

Meine Familie und ich sind schnell dazu übergegangen zu sagen "Unser Haus", weil es einfach so groß war. Einfach perfekt gerade mit einer 5-köpfigen Familie. Unser großer Sohn (16) konnte sich zurückziehen. Wir sind einfach begeistert vom Comer See und dem Apartment. Man konnte auch zu Fuß in den Ort allerdings wurde das durch Steigung auf dem Rückweg manchmal etwas beschwerlich. Die Wohnung hatte alles was man brauchte. Paola und Melina waren toll. Sehr zuvorkommend und bei Fragen jederzeit verfügbar. Vielen Dank für dieses schöne Plätzchen ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wir waren zu 8 (4 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder; zw. 7-14) im Oktober 2019 hier. Es war alles prima. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet und man kann super selber kochen. 2 moderne Bäder mit Bidets und 1 Wanne waren sehr ordentlich. Der Tischkicker hat natürlich die Kinder begeistert. Die Terrasse mit Blick über den See ist bei Sonne ein schöner Ort zu verweilen. Der Ort Pianello ist angenehm ruhig und die Autostraße hört man nicht, da der Verkehr mit einem Tunnel den Ort umgeht. Die Vermieter haben sich super gekümmert und bei Fragen sofort über Handy geantwortet. Beachten muss man allerdings die Aufteilung der Räume - es gibt ein fantastisches Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und Blick, Ein kleines Zimmer mit Einzelbett und Babybett Und einen herrlichen Schalfsaal für 5 Personen unter dem Dach. Für 2 Paare mit Kindern muss man also etwas umplanen oder nach der Hälfte mal die Zimmer tauschen ;) Wir waren aber super zufrieden und haben die Zeit im Haus sehr genossen! Dies war eines der besten Ferienhäuser, die wir je gemietet haben. Die gesamte Ausstattung und Einrichtung ist absolut hochwertig, die Räume sind großzügig, Betten und Sitzgelegenheiten ausreichend und bequem. Es fehlt an absolut nichts. Die Lage über dem See und der Blick sind traumhaft, das Dörfchen absolut ruhig. Man musst im Navi übrigens Via Maggiana eingeben und ganz am Ende parken; zum Haus sind’s dann ein paar Schritte. Mit der eigentlichen Adresse-Eingabe kommt man nicht weiter. Zum Ort und See geht’s einige Minuten über einen kleinen Fußweg/Treppen bergab. Ist recht steil; aber das ist es am Comer See eigentlich überall. Es gibt 3 Restaurants, kleinen Supermarkt, eine Bar und den üblichen Tabacchi. Fazit: Absolut empfehlenswert; jederzeit gern wieder!

Nous avons passé une semaine magnifique. Nous avons profité d’une magnifique maison avec une vue somptueuse. Depuis la terrasse, c’est un vrai régal. L’accueil des propriétaires a été parfait. De l’écoute, de la disponibilité et la volonté de faire partager leur connaissance de la région . Enfin, Pianello et le lac nous ont ravi pour profiter de vacances au calme, en famille. Soleil et sourires des résidents de la région en prime. Cela donne envie de revenir.

Besonders genossen haben wir die traumhafte Aussicht von Terasse und Balkon. Zu jeder Tageszeit und bei jedem Wetter ein Erlebnis! Das geräumige Haus bietet reichlich Platz für unterschiedliche Beschäftigungen und viele Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Die Räume sind hochwertig ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Sehr gefallen hat uns auch das kleine Dorf mit den Fusswegen zwischen den Häusern, sowie der Fussweg nach Pianello.
