misleading presentation on booking.com

Staff was friendly.

Very disappointed — the hotel’s ads on Booking.com are misleading. The pool and spa are shown as key features, but only in small print does it say they cost extra. I booked specifically for these facilities and was shocked to learn the pool is 35€ for 45 minutes. Fitness center costs in addition to that. The sauna was broken anyway. The pool photos are deceptive — it’s tiny, located on floor -1, and the windows look into the breakfast room, not a spacious pool leading to a bright terrace as it looks on the photos. Overall, misleading presentation and poor value. Would not book again.

Great stay, clean and comfortable.

The room was a good size and well maintained. The property was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I liked the large windows and light coming into the room. It was great having speakers in the room, and very easy to connect to.

Would have liked more hanging space in the rooms (for towels & clothes). The temperature was a bit high, so it would have been nice to cool through the aircon.

Lovely place, modern with great service and breakfast!

Really clean, hotel rooms were amazingly modern with nice coffee makers, beautiful showers. Breakfast was 10/10 amazing, they nailed the experience and look of the hotel

Felt a bit deceived from the booking promoting the spa which it wasn’t included (this could be normal in Paris, but from other places we’ve stayed pools and saunas are included) - at 38 euro it wasn’t worth the extra to use the pool/sauna for 45 minutes.

Liked the comfortable rooms, the breakfast, the wonderful staff! The receptionists are very helpful. Complimentary still and sparkling water all day (tap). They also stored my luggage after checkout! Great small hotel

Great place to set up base while sightseeing

The beds were comfy and just right. Our room overlooked the street but there was no noise at all. The hotel is situated within walking distance to bus stops, taxi ranks and the Glacierè train station. There are a few eateries nearby. Breakfast was great offering both hot meals and/or a continental option and freshly squeezed orange juice. We were so delighted to be able to interact with a receptionist that was multi-lingual as our level of French is on the poorer side! Room was kept immaculately clean throughout our stay. We have stayed at 4 and 5-star hotels but this hotel made us feel like we were coming back to our own home each day we returned from sightseeing. Excellent job, B55 - we will recommend you to family and friends intending to visit Paris for sure!

Nothing. Everything was done to a high standard at this establishment. Our time spent here only reinforced the need for us to improve on our French speaking skills to ensure a much easier experience next time around. Thank you to Hotel B55 for the wonderful stay!

Lovely hotel in a good spot but check on any work going on before you book.

NIce room with a shower on the 4th floor at the front of the property looking over the side road. Pool was was very nice & warm and a sauna too, was very busy so make sure you book in advance as only 4 guests can use this at one time. Was worth the money we paid if the builders were not there.

The hotel gave us a room at the front where there was full height scaffolding right outside our window and was woken up every morning with workmen banging and clanging their tools before 8 o/clock, We told reception but they said there was no other rooms available until the night before we left. There was no mention of building work on the listing when booking this hotel and that is not acceptable. Beds were very hard so kept waking up to re position, could wait to get home for a proper nights sleep. This is meant to be a 4 star hotel and did not have any Breakfast tea bags in the breakfast room, Checked with staff and they said they don,t have any. Some of the staff were grumpy and barely said hello, Reception lady was very helpful

Amazing Unforgettable stay in a beautiful city .

Lovely hotel in a lovely area . The staff were very friendly and helpful . The room was lovely , spacious, clean and had a great view . The continental breakfast was lovey . The location was great , close to a lovely park , local shops and great transport links into the city centre.

Excellent room, clean and modern!

Modern, clean and spacious. Will definitely visit again on our next trip to Paris. Not far from the city centre, it was nice to be close but not in the very middle. Secure parking garage only a 3 minute walk away too so perfect for those who are driving in.

Good proce for 2 people, not for solo traveler

It is really modern, cool design hotel. Everything is new n luxury. I just mistook as brick fast was included but it wasn’t… however that price was worth to pay! It was amazing. I quite enjoyed making waffle for my first time.

I wanted use the pool but it needs to book before n need to pay…. I wasn’t sure what time I’lI arrive n leave. So couldn’t decided it when I can use.

Delicious breakfast with plenty options , clean , lovely atmosphere and staff service in general is excellent at restaurant , Reception, Housekeeping very friendly and helpful . Also, we arrived in taxi but move in train to all the tourist attractions so its in a safe place with good access to transport to the attractions .

Modern Paris hotel

Clean modern hotel, comfortable bed. Practical bathroom. Booked a room with a small terrace, it was lovely to have the extra space to sit and relax.

EXTREMELY rude and unpleasant lady at breakfast service Sunday 25 June. We stayed for several nights and the staff were all friendly and helpful the previous days. She spoiled the whole breakfast experience. First she chased us from a table because she demanded we sit at a smaller one, although the dining room was almost empty. Then there were no bowls available and when I asked her for a bowl she told me rudely to wait because she was busy. She proceeded to do other tasks and deliberately made me wait ages for a bowl. Such a rude and obviously irritated person should not be allowed to work with guests, she is spoiling the guest experience at the hotel.

no bar, no kitchen, had to pay extra to use spa and everything else tried to charge extra for everything, paid for flowers got no flowers for my anniversary with my girlfriend ruined

good value, room for a few improvements

our room was very hot and our second room had the handle removed from the window, so there was no opportunity for fresh air. the air con is centralised and cannot be altered in the rooms. our room was a lot smaller than anticipate.

Good value for the money in an expensive city but don't expect luxury

Staff was friendly, the hotel seemed quite new. Location was not very central but well connected. 24hs desk.

Here are some opprotunities to improve: -35eur charge to use the pool not very well stated in the reservation. The pool was cold and only 1 hr to use it in a determined timeslot. -There was an electrical wine cellar that did not worked. We called to turn it on and the answer was "it won't be working" we figuren design failure. -The room was quite small but expectable for Paris's standards. -The bathroom was nice but the sink's design was a little uncomfortable to use to clean your face. -The heating did not quite work the first days, had to ask tonturn it on. The window had some air coming through ar the bottom. Everything else quite good.
