Aesthetically pleasing- artistically unique. Each room is designed by a different artist so each is unique. Fun concept!
Not as functional as we’d like- only one chair, low bed. Other rooms may be more accommodating as each room is unique.

With an excellent location in the middle of Caldas da Rainha, this design concept hotel has beautiful, ceramacist themed rooms which make it a unique, non-corporate hotel experience. The restaurant onsite, Maria Dos Cacos is excellent. We had dinner elsewhere but were still a little peckish when we got back to the hotel, so we stopped in and had a handful of dishes to top up, and I wish we had had our entire meal there.
The only thing that could have been better is that the hot water could be, well, actually hot. Our room featured a spa tub that I was excited to use since our apartment only has a shower, but we couldn't get the water to a temperature other than tolerably warm, which cooled quickly and kept the bath to a short duration. Other than that, full marks.

Quirky hotel, very central location and with wonderful staff.
Good breakfast and interesting rooms..
Lack of storage for clothes in our room, no drawers, wardrobe or similar.
Plumbing a little bit erratic.

The hotel was very lovely, spacious and unique.
If you have a sensitive nose the parfym smell that both lingered in the whole room/ hotel combined with the bedding parfym was hard to miss. It was not unpleasant but made you feel like you are on a verge of a headache.
