Guest House Proof Point

ロケーションが良い。釧路駅から1km位、MOOからすぐ。

キッチンもあり一応の物は揃っている。

閑散期だったので、二段ベッドの部屋でなくて、平おきベッドの部屋に泊まれて快適でした。 洗面所のアメニティがわりと揃ってる。

特にないです。 強いて言えば、洗面所にタオルやバッグが掛けられるフックがあったらいいのに、と思いました。 シャワールームにはフックが付いていた(前は無かった気がする)ので。 全国どこのドミトリーでもそうですが、 どこを踏んだか分からないスリッパで歩き回っている床の上に、できれば物を置きたくないのです。

- Check in staff were very friendly and was kinda enough to give me a local Izakaya for food since it was late at night that I checked in and had a long road trip that day - The little fan on the bed - Check in staff properly explained how to use and setup the bed. Explained everything through the process slowly which I greatly appreciate - Nice common area but didn’t really had the chance to use it since I was there for the night to sleep and head out - Self check out - Lockers to store you valuables for free (Didn’t used) - Bed was comfortable - Enough space to place your carry on roller bag and backpack on the floor (Stayed in single bed and not dorm with bunk beds)

- Someone stole my slippers in the shoe drawer right after I checked in since no shoes are allowed in the reception in the rooms. Of course, the hostel is not responsible. But keep your things around you if possible or don’t show off fancy shoes or slippers. Surprisingly my shoes didn’t get stolen but my slippers did. Not complaining. - Limited car parking if you decide to bring your car. First come, first served. If you’re late, you will need to find parking somewhere else - Paying for towels but it was cheap

The place is super clean, has a basic kitchen and a comfortable common area where you can meet other travellers. The cafe below is cool and serves coffee, and there's a convenience store nearby.

The receptionist is not particularly friendly. Within one day I was reprimanded for parking in their car park (which clearly says on the sign it's for the guesthouse), walking around in my socks (instead of wearing the apparently compulsory footwear) and drying my dishes with the wrong (??) tea towel. The bunk bed futons are thin to the point where you feel the wooden slats underneath. If you want a comfortable night sleep, book a slightly more expensive bed in the other dorm, that has a proper mattress.
