Perfect getaway cottage!

The whole place is great. It felt cosy and looked lovely. Everything had been well thought out and it was easy to spend time in. Beautiful view of the hills, excellent wifi, dishwasher was a nice bonus, shower had plenty of hot water, bed was comfortable and the place was so warm. I could have spent twice as long here and been perfectly happy. Kitchen was well equipped too, and the TV had netflix etc. I would 100% come back.

Lovely location (possibly not for a nervous driver!). Very tranquil and quiet despite being just off A48 (bonus for getting about easily). It was very well equipped and perfect for our needs.

Home from Home Vacation

We stayed in the garden shed for 3 nights It was like a home from home stay Beautifully decorated with everything you could need Pots, pans, cutlery, plates, tea bags, coffee, sugar, welsh cakes, towels, flannels, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toilet rolls, hand-wash, cotton buds The fairy lights gave it a real warm to the property. Lovely powerful hot shower Heating kept the property at a lovely temperature An extremely comfortable mattress All nicely clean Highly recommend this property

The property is set in grounds of a BnB and another lodge. We stayed in the dog friendly lodge, it was spacious with treats for our dog. The patio doors opened onto a small veranda and a fenced garden. We also had access to 2 medium paddocks to allow our dog to play. The property has everything you need, full kitchen including a freezer and dishwasher, along with fridge, microwave and toaster. Tea and coffee provided, lovely Welsh cakes and some Christmas chocolates were left for our arrival. Bed very comfortable, bathroom lovely, towels, shower wash and shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and toilet rolls all waiting. Properly off a lane with farms around, very quiet, peaceful. You can hear the A48 in the distance but it didn’t spoil anything for us. U

Amazing, peaceful, cosey, romantic, homely

Me and my partner were amazed when we arrived !! It’s absolutely perfect we could not find one fault !! Spotless clean !! So comfy and cozy and warm and romantic, very spacious, the perfect little get away, I wished we stayed longer, they provide everything you need including cooking facilities oven trays things like that, it really was like a home away from Home, left a lovely little welcome note on the chalk board too, they put the heater on so it was nice and warm when we got there, as it was freezing cold and raining outside, they have a tv with Netflix and everything needed on it too, Theres games and books in there they provide towels and shampoo and shower gels, and the bed was so comfy!! And the view of the place is stunning 😍😍 surrounded my countryside, so peaceful, they left us tea cakes too Wich was a lovely gesture, you can also get uber delivery from shops or food places here, we ordered from sainsburys on uber eats whilst we was there as there’s no shops local

Fabulous location, exactly what we needed. Tranquil location, away from everything. Fabulously warm, clean and very comfortable accommodation; an extremely comfy bed; huge shower; everything needed was.provided including thick, fluffy towels - they really have thought of everything - including an extensive range of reading materials. We appreciated the Christmas decorations and lights - just perfect. Hosts were spot on with their support during power cut in Storm Bram; providing a torch and candles, plus a huge bottle of water! Next day they replaced our lost food which was damaged during powercut and a lovely bottle of Malbec!

Lovely and cosy. Cute decor. Super comfy bed. All the facilities you need and small touches all thought of. Quiet and peaceful. The shed had the heating and lighting on ready which was great on a cold winters day.

A superb property and host who has clearly done the research for what makes a home from home experience.

The property was in a lovely quiet location and provided a perfect level of privacy. We stayed in the Garden Shed and can honestly say that it was the best self catering property we have rented to date. The property had everything and more, to ensure that visitors would experience a feeling of being home from home. So much attention to detail and full support if required. It was very clean and extremely cosy and warm. We can highly recommend a visit.

Peaceful, comfortable stay with all modern conveniences.

Keys were easily accessible at check in. The surrounding property is gorgeous and the accommodations exceeded our expectations! Hosts had thought of everything. Very comfortable. Well appointed kitchen. Very relaxing stay for 3 nights and would happily have stayed longer!

Our personal preference is a firmer mattress but having said that we were comfortable and slept well!

The property offers incredible accommodation with amazing views

Breakfast N.A. The property was exactly as stated, it was beautifully presented with personal touches; a real home from home. Their thoughtfulness was lovely; a small welcome pack, salt, pepper and vinegar, along with the usual tea and coffee. That may not seem much, but in 30 years of self catering, it's the first time anyone has left condiments. The bungalow had the most amazing views and offered a haven of peace

A very enjoyable week in a very pleasant location. Handy for the nearby town and countryside.

The location was suited to our intended activity a walking holiday. The property is located on a secluded plot which is part of a larger former nursery. The accommodation affords a good deal of privacy for residents and is away from any main road or other buildings.

The property fully met our expectations so there was nothing not to like about it.

All we could have wanted, and extremely affordable.

All you could possibly want at this extremely keen price. Everything is provided, from quality towels right down to cotton buds! The garden shed is hedged on three sides, affording excellent privacy. Perfect host. Courteous and helpful, and careful not to be intrusive. Can't say the same about Frank the dog, who knows no boundaries (provided you encourage him - which we did). Nicely decorated, with strong gardening theme, as reflected in all the books. Go ahead and book it. You wont be disappointed.

I liked that there was coffee at the property, basic things like salt & and peper, even shampoo things you can accidentally forget or just not think to bring. The little touches that have been made to make it feel like a home. The Welsh cakes were a nice touch to. There was a folder with information in which ment I didn't have to keep bothering the host

Absolutely outstanding place! The owners were lovely and friendly, and we particularly loved Frank the dogs visits 😀. The Garden room was beautifully and tastefully decorated, and the kitchen was well stocked regards equipment etc. The pictures you see online is EXACTLY what you get. That's rare in itself! The little touches were bloody lovely and very thoughtful; from the welcome message on the chalkboard and complementary Welsh cakes, to the condiments, cleaning products, loo roll and bathroom products, and quirky books, all made our stay exceptional. It was a very homely and peaceful place to stay, with beautiful countryside surroundings to boot. The bed!.... OMG THE BED! By far, the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in, and we've stayed in a LOT of places all around the world. Da iawn 👌. The grounds were beautiful too, with well manicured and maintained gardens, and beautiful flowers. We would highly recommend staying here, and we most certainly will be back over and over again. The welcome book is very very informative, and we loved the witty humour throughout. Clearly, the owners take pride in their little slice of heaven, and want their guests to feel comfortable and at home. What a gem!

If I had to be super picky, then a whisk in the kitchen would be great. The bathroom door doesn't fully latch shut either, nor the bedroom door. This is more than likely due to being a wooden construction building, and wood tends to swell and contract etc. Not much can be done about it 🤷‍♀️, and it's certainly not a deal breaker. You can hear the sound of traffic from the nearby carriageway, however the sound of bird song drowns it all out. Like, you're aware there is a main road, but it doesn't spoil your stay. But hey, who cares when you're staying at such a wonderful place.
