The property was clean and well kept. And it was very easy to find based on the instructions provided by the owner. The owner was extremely helpful. He sent us detailed instructions on how to get around using the boat system, and even helped us find our next accommodation.

The apartment is spacious, comfortable and perfectly located. I have been in Venice over ten times and this has been the best accommodation.

The host is rather high maintenance. Even though the conversation is always polite there is a lot of it. In other accommodations there is a single message with information and the timeframe for checkin. You read through and follow. In this case there were reminders to provide an exact time of the checkin, to message when I arrive in the train station and start moving towards the apartment etc. I was driving to Venice and stopping along the way, so I could and didn’t want to specify and exact time. This demand ruined the entire day as I was forced to follow a clock. I also got a reminder message on the check out time on the evening before, on the morning of the day and then also a personal visit to remind me again. I travel almost every month and I never had such a case. For me it was too intrusive and because of this I will not consider this apartment again.
